“Worth the drive!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

If you are on the Cherohala Skyway, do not miss this stop!!! If you are heading out of Tellico on the Cherohala, wave "hi" to the guy taking pictures at the first scenic overlook... CherohalaPhotos . com... Then look for the exit to Bald River Falls. It is FREE and absolutely worth the drive. We didn't go in the water, but it was refreshing just to hear! Bathroom facilities are just past the falls about 1/4 mile.

“Spectacular! ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2014 via mobile

Visited Bald River Falls for the first time today. The cascade is approximately 100 ft tall, landing in a large pool. The falls are easily viewed from the roadway from your vehicle, although the traffic jam would be very rude. A large parking area will allow for you to spend as long as you wish gazing at this natural wonder. Just 6 miles off the Cherohala Skyway, on River Road, in Tellico Plains, TN.

“Beautiful View-Relaxing Nature Sounds”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2014

This is one of the most beautiful natural mountain waterfalls I have ever seen. Be aware that you cannot park or stop on the bridge as you pass over it to gaze at the falls. If you want to enjoy this waterfall in all its glory, park in the designated parking area and take a walk around the trail provided. I have been there many times, but then again, I live a mere 30 miles from the area.

“Stunning Falls”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 April 2014

Parking is at a premium so be prepared. The falls is best viewed from the little bridge, it is stunning to see a waterfall this close. It was especially full due to the snow melt off during my recent visit. There is also a smaller fall near the same break locals call the Angel Falls. It is such a beautiful waterfall, and having the ability to observe it at such proximity is a treat. There is nothing disappointing about this.

“Nice waterfall. Badly congested river road.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014 via mobile

I live maybe 20 minutes from bald river falls. The access road follows the course of the river which was also the old railroad bed that the logging trains used to get the logs out of the back country. The main issue is the traffic. Its pretty congested and with the small road it is pretty slow going.
