Even though it was a rainy winter stay, being able to see the river from our rv (we were not on the river as the rv was too long) was relaxing.

The people in the office were helpful. My in-laws weren't aware how low the propane was so it was quite chilly in the rv by the time we got back from spend the day at Dollywood. In the morning the guy got some propane so we could fill the tank. The tank is a special size so it cannot just be replaced. All of us were appreciative of his assistance, most especially since it was so cold this weekend.

The restrooms were clean and taken care of. WiFi worked okay as well. It was a little drive to Pigeon Forge but not too bad. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent campground. Suzanne in the office was SO knowledgeable, nice, & helpful. Al took us to our site and helped get us situated. Al continued to assist campers if they needed help even when he was off duty. Both hard workers and care about the campers. All campgrounds should have a Suzanne & Al working for them! Only negative was KOA needs to fix the wifi.

This year we stayed in the Deluxe Cabin at the Townsend KOA. It was very cute and served all our needs. It has a bathroom, small shower, two bedrooms (one with bunk beds) a small kitchen area with a sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Came with knives and forks. The cabin has air conditioning and a TV. You also have a deck with a gas grill and fire pit with a table and chairs overlooking the River (Beautiful view). We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the view and watching the fireflies at night. Very friendly staff.

You can read more about our trip on our travel blog.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view

Clean bathroomms and shower house. Staff checked and cleaned every campsite including the fire ring after checkout. Well maintained campground. Staff friendly and helpfull. Only complaint a little pricey but what you expect for a koa and the bath house is a good walk from the tent campsites .have portable restrooms nearby. Well probably stay again.

This was our first time here but it will definitely not be our last! We stayed 4 nights and it was the most peaceful and relaxing time we've ever had (except for the 2 1/2 hr pressure washing of the RV next to us one morning - which according to the terms and conditions was not supposed to be done!) Our campsite was right on the river. You can tube or fish or just sit and enjoy the river! Everyone was very friendly. The establishment had everything you needed...deli, convenience store, gas station, laundry. The bathhouse was immaculate (although we never used it we did check it out). We will definitely be back!
