Beautiful and scenic. It is about 1-1.5 hours long, only about 1.5 miles but you will feel as if you walked more. I really enjoyed it and the tour guide was very friendly. Recommend solo or with family. If you have small kids it is fine but keep them close.

My husband was googling things to do near where we were staying in Pigeon Forge and this popped up. It wasn't that far from where we were staying. It opens at 10 am so that's what time we arrived. We were on the first tour which is what I recommend, otherwise your on a tour with another tour interrupting your tour to come past you to exit the caverns. There are LOTS of stairs and parts can be a little wet so if you have problems with that this might not be for you. The price was comparable to others. Our guide was Gavin and he was so personable and informative, he did an excellent job. Lots to see in this cavern. We brought a picnic lunch and ate at some picnic tables that are next to the building.

We had a great guide who really gave us a lot of information about the discovery and development of the caverns. She gave demonstrations we had not seen before! I sang a few bars of Rockytop in the the great cavern and it was SO COOL!!
