“A relaxing drive in the country”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 January 2012

A lovely home, beautifully decorated. It was Christmas time and the decorations were up and festive. We stayed in the Prince room on the first floor. The bathroom is large, great shower and wonderful fluffy white towels. You'll see a fireplace in the picture but it doesn't work. Be sure to call and remind the owners you're coming on the day you'll arrive, no one actually lives in the house, they turn off the hot water heater when there are no
guests, they had forgotten to turn it back on so we were without hot water that evening.

This place really IS as good as it gets! First of all, it's a great place to stay if you kind of want to be in the 'middle' of the attractions in the area (Jack Daniels, George Dickel, Tullahoma, Tim's Ford, Winchester, Bell Buckle) But that isn't the reason I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast. I would recommend it because the house is like something from a dream, the owners are the epitome of Southern Hospitality, and the area is as scenic and as isolated as it gets. That's right... There is a horse farm next door but that is it! You will not hear a plane, train, or traffic ever out here. Look out any window and you will see those beautiful Tennessee rolling hills. You are greeted very warmly upon entry either by Mrs. Jeanie Williams or Mrs. Pat Cox. Both are extremely kind and delightful hostesses. One of the hostesses will stay in the cottage behind the house so you will have the whole grand old 1905 farmhouse to yourself, but she will be available if you need her. The beds in each room are extremely comfortable, and the house is decorated with antiques and in taste. Your hostess will give you and the other guests a choice on what time you would like breakfast, and the next day they will make you an awesome breakfast! Ours was sausage muffins, praline french toast, perfectly scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fresh fruit and coffee. There are also fresh flowers on the table. There are many small details that make it extra special. As for the breakfast itself, It was absolutely delicious and worth the price alone! Speaking of price... It is VERY reasonable with the 4 upstairs rooms going at 100 dollars a night, and the larger room downstairs at 125 a night plus tax. I was so sad to leave when we did, but I was also excited as I knew that we would be back many MANY times!

I would absoluetly LOVE to go back here. It was beautiful! The house was gorgeous and the rooms were lovely, we had the Prince room downstairs which had the biggest bed I've ever seen! the whole place was spotless and we had our own porch to sit out on. The surroundings are amazing, its all just like it looks on the website. Breakfast was awsome, Jeannie cooks your breakfast for you, asking beforhand about what things you do and dont like, it was delicious! she is also the loveliest lady, we loved talking to her and she genuinely enjoys your company and making sure you are having a good time. There is a fridge of cold drinks if you want them and she even baked us cookies!! We stayed here to visit the Jack Daniels distillery, it's in a good location not too far from the distillery or Tullahoma. We only stayed one night and were so sad to leave. Definately one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed, would 100% recommend, infact we'd even advise you to go out of your way to stay here!

Room Tip: We had a peak and all the rooms looked great. The prince room has an outside seating area.
