Newer hotel on the out skirts of Houston. Hotel is brand new, room is nice. Staff was helpful but not overly friendly. The pool/ hot tub area is nice. Only really had two issues that made this a good experience instead of great. 1) The hubby and I wanted to take our kids down to the pool in the evening. Went down to the pool area only to find about 10 preteen- 13, 14 yr. Old girls in the pool. The pool is indoors and the room echoes. These girls were unsupervised. It was so miserable we ended up leaving! Don't understand why they were allowed down there with out adults. The 2nd issue was with the shower. First of all, let me say that overall the room was clean. We didn't notice until we wrote up the next morning and started getting showers that there is terrible mildew in the corners of the shower and around the shower door. Free breakfast and wifi are included. Overall, good for the money, just don't expect to be wowed.

Thank you for writing a review of your recent stay with our hotel. Our goal is to "wow" all of our guests and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn about both the successes and challenges our guests may face. It's wonderful to hear that our staff was helpful, the hotel appeared brand new and you felt it was a great value for the money.

We're disappointed to learn of your experience in our pool and spa area. As you experienced, guests love using our indoor heated pool and spa area. We have strict guidelines posted for the pool area, and it's unfortunate those rules were not followed by the group of pre-teens and their chaperones. The safety of all of our guests is extremely important to us, and it would be helfpul for any safety issues to be brought to the attention of our management staff as soon as possible. We perform several property walks daily to ensure both the safety and security of our guests, but we appreciate the additional eyes and ears each of you provide.

We hope that you'll choose to stay with us the next time you're in Baytown.

This place is fairly new with the quality standards we've come to expect of SpringHill Suites. The room was clean and well maintained as you can see in the pictures provided. However, I gave this hotel a 3 star for two reasons:
1. The bed was worn and lack adequate support. I woke up feeling exhausted. I am not too heavy for the mattress; I weight about 82kg (180 lbs).
2. The internet was so VERY slow - it essentially did NOT work. The more troubling thing is that I called 4 times to have it fixed and no one seem to care enough to resolve this issue.

It's wonderful to hear that both the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel was exemplary and we greatly appreciate your loyalty to both Marriott in general and SpringHill Suites specifically.

I'd like to take a brief moment to highlight your two areas of concern. Our hotel is incredibly proud of our internet speed and reliability - in fact we're rated the #1 hotel out of 302 SpringHill Suites in the United States for internet. During your visit unfortunately, our area was subjected to heavy storms, and due to surges and service disconnections in the Baytown area our internet was sporadic and not operating at our typical top-of-the-line speeds. I apologize if our front desk was not responsive to your needs - that is clearly not an example of the award-winning service we provide.

We're saddened to hear you did not experience a good night's sleep, as Marriott prides itself on the comfort of the mattresses provided in SpringHill Suites hotels. Due to the high number of requests, Marriott even set up a website specifically to allow guests to purchase the exact mattresses, linens, etc used in our suites for their homes. Personally we love the comfort of our mattresses, but we can appreciate that every individual has a unique sleep need. Our modern pull-out sleeper sofa, is a great addition to the suite for both our business and leisure travelers. In the future, it would be helpful to update your sleep requirements in your profile, to allow hotels the opportunity to accomodate your needs prior to your arrival.

This is our first time staying in springhill suites and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We usually stay at Residence Inn when we travel but there was none in Baytown so we opted for here. Great choice!!! Wonderful location, near everything you need to get to, restaurants, shopping and more. Great staff, wonderful breakfast and the beds were to die for! We will be staying next time we come to Baytown.

I made the reservation weeks in advance for my boyfriend's birthday. The staff was amazing. The room was beautiful. The set-up was just gorgeous. It was an amazing experience for my boyfriend and me since we have a 3 y.o. we don't get much time together and this was just all around perfect. Thank hou.

Thank you for choosing our hotel for your "romantic staycation". It's wonderful that you and your boyfriend were able to get time away to celebrate his birthday. I know it's difficult with a young child to juggle romance and motherhood. Couples love booking our Romance package because it takes all of the work out of their hands. Our staff of budding romantics love setting up all of the details - arranging the rose bouquet, scattering rose petals and delivering the 'couples dessert' and bottle of bubbly.

We hope to see you back for another well deserved romantic get-a-way!.

I was very nicely surprised by the decor and ambiance of the Baytown Springhill Suites. Upon arrival everything was in order the room was clean and tidy. My experience was enhanced even more by the attentive help of Patricia who was helping me at the time. Her attention to detail and commitment to service went far and beyond the call of duty and should be recognized for her dedication to customer satisfaction. I would not only recommend Springhill Suites in general bit definitely the one in Baytown due to it's exemplary customer service.

After my family's experience at Springhill Suites, we don't care to stay any place else. Our stay was fantastic, everyone was so friendly and thoughtful and the rooms were so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

You need to check out how Marriott is designing their new SpringHill suites. This is the most comfortable and well-designed hotel I have ever stayed in. Very funtional. Very classy. Rooms have a upscale, modern look and feel, yet warm at the same time. I would always choose this vs any other hotel choice - whether for business or leisure. This place is new and perfectly maintained. Lobby/lounge/breakfast area also very well designed.
