“Great free family activity!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013 via mobile

We live nearby so we've been here a few times. There are walking, hiking, biking trails... A creek and some neat things to see. Best of all they don't charge anything so it's an inexpensive outing!!

“Great place for a nature walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

I live in Boerne and we go here all the time for walks. They also offer programs for kids.
My son also has been going to their summer camp for 4 years now and loves it. Boerne has lots of sidewalks and trails for walking. This one connects to the City Pool area and then you can walk all the way through town and duck park.
This is a free park with free parking.

“Dogs and family love it!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2013

We like to take our dogs for walks here. The trails are wide, the creek is beautiful, and its a great place to go to relax. We walk the dogs on leashes--not everyone who goes there keeps there dogs on a leash so be prepared to deal with that. Always a great place to go walk and spend time with pets and family.

“If you like nature this is a must see”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2013

There is an abundance of hiking opportunities. We took the creek and marsh walk based on a suggestion from another family. The kids enjoyed being ouside and there was plenty of shade. We didnt plan on spending the day but glad we brought water and packed lunch. Trails are not well marked nor is the map particularly great but you will eventually get back to parking lot. This didnt affect our enjoyment but could have been very frustrating if we had been on a tighter schedule or we had come later in the day. Kids enjoyed the creek and I would recommend swim suits as the kids eventually jumped in. The Marsh was full of beautiful sounds but with small kids they just wanted to get back to the water.

“Need of Help”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 April 2013

All in all 530 or so acres of some not all beautiful scenery. The main problem is a very poor map,and lack of signage on the trails. Very possible to get lost and walk your legs off. The creek paths are far the best of the lot. The Prairie and Marsh are pretty much the same ,Dinaosuar track's were probably moved from Glen Rose,no one to ask. Which begs the question."Where is every one."
