I stayed at the Ye Kendall Inn while in Boerne for work. I got a fantastic room rate for a room in the Garden Courte area. Room was fantastic, hotel was built in 1858 or so and has a really cool feel to it. Staff was friendly, and even let me check in early. If you like history, stay here! Also, they had several really cozy looking cottages.

We had our wedding reception in the courtyard and did all the wedding primping at the salon. It was a wonderful time and they really took care of us. Even with some very last minute room reservations for some gueats we didn't want driving home.
It's a perfect setting for the couple who wants a "texas/country chic" wedding.

We reserved all of the Kendall Inn for bridal party and family for our daughter's wedding last April. With an improved staff from the beginning of our planning to the very end, we had a wonderful experience. We had the rehearsal dinner catered to the courtyard for an outstanding outdoor meal along with bars set up for our guests enjoyment. The morning of the wedding, the brides breakfast, held in the St. John's Suite, went without a hitch, and the Inn delivered their portion on time and followed through with the clean-up. After the wedding, the bridal party, family and friends met back at the courtyard for the "afterparty". The fireplace was lit and several outdoor heaters were on to accommodate the chill in the air that night. The staff attending the bar was there to provide our every wish. Everyone is still talking about the accommodations and the intimacy the Inn offers for such an occasion. I would highly recommend planning any event there - just make sure you work with Charlotte Wilson. She is the best and works with her clients to give them the absolute best experience. The best thing was there were no surprises in the end. The Inn is close enough to walk to the various restaurants in town and the spa is next door.

Room Tip: If a group is traveling together, the individual cabins in the back or the group cabins on the side...

This was our first stay. We were a little early for check in time, but Kristine was great and let us check in early, which was a big help to us.We were here for a wedding. The whole bridal party, family and friends stayed at the "Ye Kendall Inn". We had a great time at the wedding. We stayed in the Jefferson Davis room, it was a little small, but very cosy. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We will stay again.

We stayed here for a wedding and it was a beautiful short get away. We stayed in Cibolo I cottage and we just loved it, the room was nicely decorated and loved the set up. It looked like an old store with alot of windows but they had pulled down blinds for all of them. The hotel and staff were wonderful, it was so quiet and relaxing, they had chairs for your patio in front of cottage where there were lots of trees. Also we loved that check out time was 12noon, not like most places they want you out by 11 or sometimes 10am. So that was a big plus in my book, I wish we had taken more pics but I was in the moment and really overlooked my camera. Again relaxing and disconnecting. So I would definitely go back and stay longer so we could do some shopping, we drove down main street and there were alot of lovely shops. Just didnt have the time because of wedding to check them out, next time. Boerne is truly a quaint and beautiful hill country town.

Room Tip: The main hotel is nice but view the cottages for more romance or solitude.

Staff was nice and friendly. However the TV Remote did not work. Staff did not know how to fix it and said sorry. I see we were not the only ones who have complained about this issue. I think it's about time to replace and get new TV's and remotes. A/C was nice and cold. Bed was comfortable. Upset that the cafe was not open as would have liked to have gotten breakfast, but shops around town that serve breakfast are great and in walking distance to Inn. A large group had the whole inn booked and they all left at the same time. Staff at the inn were understaffed and none of the rooms were cleaned. Nor did they know when they'd be cleaned. The check in was very slow compared to other places we've stayed. The cabins out back are unique and are fun to stay in. A bit pricey for non working things and no breakfast. It was a different place to stay that's for sure and was enjoyable with a just a couple of hiccups along the way.

Room Tip: Book one of the cabins out back. They are unique and fun to enjoy.
