“Excellent Potato Salad”
Reviewed 14 March 2014

-It's a tiny restaurant.
-You can't find it on a GPS (you'll have to type in the exact address).
-The service was very speedy, and the cooks and servers were kind.
-The brisket and turkey platters are pricey. ($10.00)
-The baked potato loaded with meat was a better deal. ($7.49)
-The beef was a little salty; the rub they used was kinda weird. But the meat was well smoked and moist.
-The potato salad was excellent, definitely a great pick.

“Quick and delicious”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

Stopped in the Post Mountain BBQ during our trip on the Austin Steam Train. Go to the counter - the meal is prepared as you watch. Soda only. The sides was very good - potato salad and cole slaw. Brisket was perfect. We had the plates. The sandwiches we saw were piled high with meat.

“Better than average BBQ ”
Reviewed 15 February 2014 via mobile

We actually came across this place because of Trip Advisor. An adorable little family runs the place and you feel as if you have stepped into your grandma's kitchen when you walk up to order. My husband and I shared the sliced beef and turkey sandwiches. My husband LOVES sauce but the meats were actually better without any sauce at all. The smoke rings of both meats were impressive and the flavors were great! The had Big Red! Cute little place. Glad we stopped in. :)
