great weekend, my son loved it, especially the water attractions and the mining area. Tent site was fine with lots of trees for hammocks. A little on the expensive side but not bad. Good central location to lots of other activities.

There were children having fun all over the place. There was a water playground, an indoor pool, kids were out riding bikes and scooter, people out on golf carts, etc... We stayed in big room with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. It was OK, nothing great, but the fun was outside of the room. I would return for the kids.

Lots of things to do, my two girls loved it. Place was clean and accommodating. Food at snack bar in pool area was really good. Staying at the park in Kerrville in a few weeks next. The cable connection could be cleaner. We did not get a very good cable tv reception. Would be a great location for a red box or vending machine for after hours...

This was our second trip here. The first one was pretty good. This time we had roaches in our cabin, when we arrived the cabin was filthy, food left on the floor, swim shoes, hair ties, and trash left under the bunks couch and closet area. They have a UNSUPERVISED water slide!!!! My daughter was going down and 4 girls decided to run up the water slide while she was going down and they all fell on her!!!! The parents of these girls were no where to be found, no park rangers to be found, and this went on for over 4hrs each day and multiple kids getting hurt. I told the children to stop and they just laughed and kept going, park rangers told them the same and nothing happened. This is when they should have been asked to leave, but when you have teenagers working there, they just shrugged their shoulders and left. Unsafe and disgusting cabins!!! Will never be returning to their Campgrounds.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We apologize that you did not have a great time camping with us. It sounds like your cabin was not in the proper condition for your arrival, and for that we are sorry. We will pass along this information to the housekeeping staff. Also, we appreciate your feedback about having the water slides being better supervised and will look into ways to address this issue. In the future, we hope that you will consider visiting us again and have a great time.

The park is nice and safe for kids. The camp sites are pretty close together and not well maintained. We did not get to go to the pool due to a short trip, but from driving by, it looked like it could fill up pretty quick. The two pools are small. Probably be good for little kids.
