We reserved jetpacking for my husband's birthday weeks in advance, put down a credit card, and even received a confirmation text the day before the event. When we showed up at the reservation time, however, Eric gave some excuse about his computer being down or there not being enough manpower and cancelled our reservation.

Don't waste your time even booking - Canyon Lake Adventures will ruin your special day.

We rented stand up paddeboards. Her a daughter's and I loved it. Very friendly and helpful staff. They took us to water and put boards in water and came promptly to pick them up. So easy and lots of fun

We rented the double decker pontoon for four hours. I used this place because crane mills(the boat rental place on the lake) doesn't have pontoons that can accommodate more than 11 people. I will not make that mistake again. Crane mills marina blows canyon lake adventures out of the water.
I'll start with the good.
We arrived at the boat yard a little behind schedule and the guys working the desk were cool with adjusting our rental time. I thought that was pretty stand up. The guys at the desk were hilarious to talk to. Very comical! They were very helpful with loading and unloading the boat.
Now the bad.
The condition of the boat was horrible. All the cup holders were missing leaving open holes throughout the seating. The boat had dings and broken pieces everywhere. The center console was a jumbled mess of switches that didn't do anything. The steering wheel was not secured and felt like it was going to come off when maneuvering the boat. The radio did not work. The water pump for the slide did not work, and when I called the joker at the front desk about it all he said was "oh we haven't got to fixing that yet, just poor a little water on it. It will be fine". The carpet on the boat was coming up exposing plywood in many places. The propane grill, which was a ragady Coleman camp stove did not work due to an empty propane bottle. This was extremely upsetting because we called a head of time to make sure they had propane. We would have brought our own, it was no big deal. The stove was not the one in the pictures online. It used the small green bottles not a 20 lb tank. Even if we did have propane it would have been a pain to cook for more than 5 people. The grill was also dirty and rusty. The throttle on the boat was very hard to move up or down. The boat road like crap and did not feel safe. The online price was $500 but ended up being $590. No explanation for the extra cost. Maybe it was for the empty propane bottle.
My group and I are not picky people. I would have been fine with all the little things, but not being able to cook really did ruin it for everyone. This place is dishonest and deceitful and I can honestly say they don't give two craps about customer service or giving the customer what they payed for. Use the rental places on the lake. I have used them for years and never been disappointed. Canyon lake adventures is a joke when it comes to their pontoon rentals!

I'm sorry you had a bad experience on our pontoon boat. We do the best we can with the equipment we have. We are a small family Buisness and are built around doing wakeboard and wake surfing boat rentals and training . We added on the pontoon boats to try and help fill a gap the marinas don't , we have now realized how hard it is to keep a boat that seats more than 8 people in decent shape and apologize for not being able to present a nicer boat for you. We do care very much about our customer service and that you have a great time on the lake, next time try booking one of our 16 passenger wake boat adventures if your interested in seeing what we really have to offer. Also There is taxes and a $20 fuel charge on top of the rental price. Thanks

We had a blast on Canyon Lake with a speed boat we rented from CLA! They were super friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were prepared and took time to make sure we were comfortable with our rental. They threw in skis and a tube at no charge. We highly recommend them, and will rent from them again.
