“Good Foor and Value!”
Reviewed 13 January 2011

We love the blue plate special for lunch. Usually get the popcorn shrimp or fish strips along with fries and shrimp slaw. The food is very good and plenty of it for the price.

“If it's Kemah......it's Joe Lee's”
Reviewed 11 March 2009

A hole in the wall? Just about. But without a doubt the best seafood I ever tasted. I mean, folks, Joe Lee's had been around since 1944! That ought to meen something! Since Hurricane Ike, the whole operation here on the coast is operated out of the one location in Clear Lake Shores but the food is great. I would not come to the coast ever, without eating at Joe Lee's.

“My "Experience" at Joe Lee”
Reviewed 25 March 2008

I have tried it twice now. And enough is enough.
Almost go overcharged by 6 dollars.
Gumbo soup was lukewarm. too short in micro wave
Kajun rice was "old" and rancid.
The "grilled" redfish was fried and not very fresh
Maybe the owner should attend his business rather than leaving it to his number 2 cook

I suggest Papas for a little more money.
