Library is not open to the public, they do not have books, it is mainly a museum for the public. Forget your politics if you did not vote for him, see his extraordinary life history. A good family man.

Enjoyed our tour of the Bush 41 Library. Nice exhibits. Took about 2 1/2 hours to tour but worth it. Friendly and accomodating staff. Highly recommend

Although I am politically an Independent I enjoy visiting presidential museums when the opportunity arises no matter what their political persuasion was during their careers. This one is a little out of the way being in College Station but it is very nice. I found our 41st President to have been much more personable and a good person than I saw while he was in office. The building and grounds of course are maintained superbly. The interior is spotless with all kinds of memorabilia to see and read about. There is an admission fee but don't let that keep you from checking this place out. Definitely professionally done! I've been to Eisenhower''s, Kennedy's, W Bush's, Clinton's, and LBJ's, with H.W. Bush's being the best one in my estimate.

Very well done museum

Found a lot more about Bush as man, his life and his values. Gained more respect for him

Seemed like a fair representation of his political life. More balanced than other presidential libraries

This library ranks as one of my favorite. We have visited Truman's, Eisenhower's, Reagan's, Hoover's and Lincoln's Libraries. I found President Bush's Library to be one of the best. The library covers President Bush's youth, military service, education, move to Texas and government service.
You are able to see into the more personal side of the Bush Family and understand their contributions to our country. I came away proud to have had President Bush as a president. If you are a history buff, you will enjoy the breadth of the information covered in the museum.
