This hotel has a restaurant - not a free breakfast buffet.
Positives: easy in and out access to SW Parkway (street), great check in experience with Sarah
Negatives: woke up around 2:00AM to strange clicking noise from AC unit (under window), quickly noticed a burning smell and heat coming from unit, jumped up and turned off unit, smoke in room with a electrical fire smell, called front desk who said we would have to come down and get key to new room down the hall, we decided to check new room before packing and moving everything, new room temp at 78 and AC not working in there, 20 minutes later man from front desk comes with new key on another floor after he said he had to try to find a room with working AC, packed up and transferred in pj's to higher floor room which was same size, clerk gave us card and said very sorry and here is free breakfast ticket, new room never got to comfortable cool temp but we stayed.
BIGGEST disappointment: went down to use free breakfast coupon in restaurant and said we needed a table to which waiter replied "good luck", were told breakfast was only free for 1 of the 3 of us in the room (huh? seriously?), we explained that we had possibly saved the hotel from burning down at 2:00AM and had to pack up and move so maybe at least 2 of us could eat breakfast free, food took forever to arrive and was worse than McDonalds.
Obviously, the AC fire was scary and it seems they have trouble with their AC units in general but, as with most problems, a sincere show of apology (compensation of some sort) would have made a huge impression on us. One free sad breakfast for 3 people who jumped up in the middle of the night to an AC electrical fire and had to pack up and run around to find a decent room an hour later was not very thoughtful.
I'll be returning to the Home2Suites or Staybridge Suites next time.

This is a large Holiday Inn & Suites hotel with approximately 116 rooms. This property is well kept inside and out and in a great location.
We checked in a little late, but the young man who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful.
We were given a large two room suite with a setting area with TV and a bedroom with King bed and all of the amenities. The room was large and roomy. Very enjoyable.
The hotel has a swimming pool,a work out room and a full service restaurant. The restaurant has a bar area which serves cocktails in the early evening hours. This is a very nice hotel.

My family spent one night here while visiting Texas A&M University. The room was very spacious with a separate sitting area and minibar area. We didn't use the pool but lots of other people were. The free breakfast was good with eggs, sausage and pretty much anything else you'd want in a nice area. Its location on a highway access road meant it isn't the most convenient place to get into but when leaving it's a straight shot down University Ave. to the university. At almost $200 with taxes I wouldn't say it was cheap but it's a reasonable value for College Station and I recommend it.

This is a fairly brand new facility with nice clean rooms and access to all things in Aggieland. It is a great place to stay to visit College Station for games, graduations, etc. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby as well. Nice, clean, hotel.

My hubby and I had a late check-in and upon arrival, we requested to change our room from two double-beds to a king. The nice guy at the front desk was able to accommodate (the hotel wasn't at capacity because Texas a&m wasn't in session). Upon entry into our room, we were surprised to find a hot tub was included! Fun!! And super-relaxing.

We recommend this hotel - just wish it came with complimentary breakfast!
