Our group of ladies loved this charming old historical home with wrap around porch. we saw Deer on the lawn, hummingbirds on the porch, lightning bugs at dusk! Breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice secluded get away! Lots of new shops in Comfort and only 30 minute drive to Fredericksburg.

Best Bed and Breakfast I have been to. Great staff. Amazing grounds! Beautiful rooms. Make sure you have dinner early enough, because the restaurants in Comfort close early. Great location to visit Fredericksburg, Boerne, and Kerrville.

Room Tip: Check out their website! Their rooms are each unique, so choose the best one that matches your needs...

Our stay was very comfortable and serene. The staff makes sure of that. We have stayed at the Haven every year for eight years. The food is fantastic and the setting to eat the well prepared meal is enchanting. I would imagine that the Garden of Eden was like this place. We felt pampered for three days and rested when we left. When I walk down to Guadalupe River and spend the afternoon fly-fishing, I am in heaven. What a blessing.

Room Tip: The cottage is very private.

This large house/Bed & Breakfast is run by a non-profit entity, and their ethics and concern for the guest's needs is very obvious. The majority of rooms have king size beds with plenty of room to spare, and all have individual bathrooms. Everywhere you look defines serenity and, well, just plain ambiance for a turn of the century atmosphere. The house, along with the huge wrap around porch, has so many different areas that can be inclusive of other guests, or can allow private moments any time a guest would prefer that. (Make sure you take time to learn about the history of the house, and how it became a Bed and Breakfast. For example, the outdoor swimming pool was hand-dug, back in the fifties.) And the food? Oh my gosh, the on-site chef is fantastic! The upper (3rd) floor could be reserved for a whole family, or as in our case, it was absolutely perfect for the bride and all her bridesmaids. (Including a full kitchen and living room!) There is also a separate 'cottage' where an entire family could stay. (This is where the groom and all the groomsmen stayed.) And what an accommodating staff! They certainly provided everything a guest could possible need.

Room Tip: If you are traveling with someone who needs to avoid climbing stairs, there is one bedroom located o...

This was an amazing place! We went for rest for our bodies and our souls. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The establishment is beautiful, the beds are great, and the breakfast was over the top. The river running through it, was clear and fun to fish from. This is truly a place to go for relaxation and peace. It's close to town, so you can run in to dine or shop in the quaint little shops. I would have given anything to extend the trip by 1-2 more days.

Room Tip: This is a three story building, and has beautiful rooms all over. I saw no problems with any of the...

Conveniently located between Fredericksburg and Kerrville is a b&b gem. Breakfasts are scrumptious and they do a lovely catered dinner for groups. The bedrooms are spacious and quiet. The grounds give a feel of the country. Price was quite reasonable.
