“Best place in Dallas to stay.”

If the bathrooms had a little updating here, this place would be perfect. Rooms are beautiful, very large and comfortable (with walk-in closets, for crying out loud). Every staff member is very well trained and exceptionally professional and friendly. Great location with many good restaurants, bars and sites within walking distance. The lobby, French Room restaurant and bar are all amazing. Free high speed internet (which is not usually the case in upscale hotels). Parking is a little pricey, but valet service is right-on.

My husband and I, in our mid-30s, stayed at the Adolphus two nights to celebrate our first anniversary and to attend the Armed Services Bowl at SMU on Jan. 30. We instantly were met with a smiling valet who offered to throw away trash in our vehicle. The desk clerk upgraded us to a suite upon my announcing our first anniversary. The concierge suggested we eat the Dallas Fish Market nearby and phoned the restaurant to expect us. The rooms are nicely appointed. (And the conditioner is fabulous!) Another concierge gave us the history of some of the hotel's gorgeous antiques, including a $2 million carved table in the lobby. We will return to the Adolphus for any subsequent Dallas trips. If you can spend $130/night in Dallas, do yourself a favor and book a room at the Adolphus.

I chose the Adolphus after reviewing TripAdvisor ratings, and I am so glad I did. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and my room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff is wonderful - helpful, friendly, and interesting. Special kudos to the hotel's director of public relations, who has worked for the hotel for about 30 years and had lots of helpful suggestions. The Adolphus is within walking distance of both Dealey Plaza and the flagship Neiman Marcus (and right across the street from a CVS!) Although I didn't use it, there is complimentary limousine service within a 3 mile radius.

I enjoyed my stay here. consistent with the other reviews the service and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. The rooms however are a old school and the hotel could use some renovations. stayed in a jr. suite which could have used a more thorough vacuuming and we found an empty mini bar bottle on top of the TV stand. But overall I enjoyed my stay, location was great, and value was there.

For the incredible rate of under 90usd for the evening the Adolphus was a steal. Every aspect of this hotel is incredible. The rooms and common areas are well appointed and the rooms feel more like home than a hotel room. Food is exceptional and the staff makes you feel like royalty. I have traveled all my life and stayed in 5 star hotels and resorts...the Adolphus by far is the best.

Stayed at the Adolphus after having dinner at the French Room in the hotel. The hotel has grand public spaces in the old hotel tradition---all very beautiful and well maintained. Our room was quite large by today's standards, but has not been updated--old TV, a small clock radio on the night stand, no bath robes--it is not the Ritz--but also not the price of the Ritz! It is very adequate if you want to stay there and not have drive after that great bottle of wine for dinner. The staff was all very professional and helpful. The French Room is the attraction here, and it IS spectacular fine dining.
