“Beautiful hotel, great value”
Reviewed 2 January 2014

My son and I stayed here for one day to see the Cowboys play, they lost but the hotel helped make up for what could have been a depressing trip. Location can't be beat if you want a quick getaway to the airport. Staff was friendly and professional, check in was a breeze and elevators were quick. We took the least expensive room and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was well outfitted with cool auto shades and lights (my 12 year old loved that), beautiful HD TV, very comfortable beds and nice sized bathroom. The room looked out to the runway which again was very cool to a 12 year old. Unfortunately, I did not have to time to use any of their facilities or the bar/restaurants but my guess is they were good judging by the number of people sitting there. Concierge was helpful in setting up my day and bellman was helpful and friendly when checking out getting us our boarding passes and driving us to our terminal (hotel is at D, we flew out of C). All in all, an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again.

ok, so a stop over on a long trip is never a good thing. My booking was found but there was a mix up with keys which meant riding up and down in the lift and contacting the front desk to come and get me the right key, for the right room. The lights in the room didn't come on so I stumbled around in the dark until I could find light switches. Everything else was ok until check out when the confusion continued. It was sorted out, but an irritating pain. Free coffee was available in the lobby, but there were no coissants left and it was only 4.30 am !

Room Tip: Room 217 was good and it had opening windows onto a balacony as fresh air is always good. If you can...

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Our first time was in 2009. The hotel is located right at Terminal D of the Dallas Fort Worth Airport.

The hotel is wonderful and actually looks better than in 2009 because of its renovation. Check-in was a breeze and our room was tasteful and well appointed. The sound proofing is excellent as we could not hear any of the airport nose nor could we hear anyone in the hallways.

We can't say enough about the superb service which we experienced from the time we were dropped off outside the hotel entrance and the door was opened for us by the hotel employee which included with the very nice bellman and the check-in was not only quick but the staff at the desk was not only efficient but very helpful, friendly and professional.

While the room does not come with a coffee maker since complimentary coffee is provided in the restaurant in the morning, we just asked about coffee and they brought up a Keurig Brewer to our room with coffee, tea, water, sweeteners and creamer.

Everything about the hotel was superb and for us it is by far the best airport hotel that we have ever stayed at.

This hotel should be a role model for other hotels. I can't find enough superlative words to describe staff. I'll just say nothing is too much trouble to make your stay all you hope. Their friendliness and professionalism is outstanding.
I usually have a run way king room as I am a bit of a plane buff.
Rooms are very large, bed is very comfortable. Bathroom with both bath & large shower is roomy with great towels, upmarket amenities. Robe to lounge in.
Food is always tasty & room service is prompt.
You can ask for coffee maker, no cost, in your room.
Access to terminal you require couldn't be easier. If you want to go into the terminal for a meal or wander, see concierge for security pass, of course you go back through security, try & pick time less busy.
It was a nice touch having cookies & apple cider out near Christmas tree in reception area.
You can ask for day rate for late flights.
Shuttle bus to Grapevine town or Mall is only $5 round trip. Large movie theatre at Mall, only $5 for matinee if you travelling late at night & want to chill prior to flight.
I always look forward to returning to this grand hotel

Frequent travelers with a 2 & 4 year old we are always looking for a place to recharge while waiting for connecting flights. After 18 hours (Adl-DFW) a shower, snooze, and nice meal were needed. This hotel blew us away with their kindness, effortless checkin, clean modern spacious room, and location within the airport. After landing with Qantas on International flight the hotel is literally right at your feet. (Terminal D) They also rent rooms by the hour if you have connecting flights. You will need to call to book this because it's not on the website. Having a hotel so close was priceless. In 6 hours time our whole family had recharged, and were ready for our next flight. A gem of a find!
