“Brain Food for learners of all ages!”
Reviewed 6 November 2013

We loved the 3D movie about things in our environment. We went right after lunch when a lot of the little kids were leaving, that seemed to be a good time to go for older folks. Wear comfy shoes and bring your own water bottle. We started on the top floor and worked our way down. Never stop learning! We really enjoyed looking at all the great minerals and seeing the way things work. Don't miss this great place. The parking lot is right across the street. You can leave your car there and take the short walk to Dick's Last Resort or House of Blues for dinner. Bring an umbrella if the weather looks bad!

“A Very Impressive Museum!”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

My husband and I took the train while staying in Ft. Worth over to Dallas to see the Perot Museum. Wow! Excellent! We have visited many nature and science museums but this one blew away all others. We felt we almost needed a full day for every floor - - or at least two days to see all the interactive exhibits and videos. We did not even go to any of the films - not enough time even though we were there about 6 hours. Nor did we go to the Sports Hall! The human display, the energy segment and the gems and minerals exhibit were great! We also attended the special exhibit of 100 plastinated specimans including one man called Animal Inside Out, - amazing!!! We learned things throughout the museum and had other things we knew reinforced! The building is clean, well kept and very accessible. And everyone we met was very nice. My husband's transport chair lost an entire wheel. Within a few moments of the docent calling Security for help, up came 2 young men with an array of tools. About 10 minutes later, we were rolling again! They saved our entire vacation and we thank them again!

“Great for the kids”

A great venue for children and accompanying adults. Many interactive activities to educate and experience simulated earth quakes, tornados, DNA and the like. Worth the time and expense

“A must visit museum!”
Reviewed 1 November 2013

Super nice and informative museum. NOT for children under 5! Kids here would be bored with the sheer volume of time it takes to really appreciate this museum. A lot of reading -great exhibits and a lot of videos and interactive stuff. Super clean and well performed. So glad we went- learned [ or relearned] a lot!

“Wonderful Museum for Kids”
Reviewed 30 October 2013 via mobile

The price might be a bit steep for some families (admission to museum + special exhibit is $27 for adults, $22 for ages 12-17/65+, and $18 for ages 2-11), but it is well worth it. The 180,000 sq. ft. building has 4 levels that encompass everything from dinosaurs to musical stairs. There are hands on activities everywhere you turn that will keep everyone engaged. I strongly suggest planning to stay at least 3 hours and wear comfortable walking shoes.
