This "hotel" is on the top floor of Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. It was designed for folks who had appointments, day surgeries in the wee morning hours. These folks could stay here and not have to make long drives to the hospital early in the morning or drive home late at night. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this. These are one room, very small, rooms with regular size beds and a couple of nightstands with lamps and a very, very small TV. Bathroom is attached in a tiny room and is adequate. In fact, the whole room is just adequate. Prices are not cheap....little under a $100 bucks a night with no amenities. You can find a couple of cafeterias downstairs in the hospital but the menus are limited to pretty much cold sandwiches. I talked to a couple of other folks and they said there are a couple of motels about two blocks away that are much nicer and larger. This area of Dallas is pretty seedy so we opted to stay on the hospital grounds to park our car vice the motels down the street. I figured there was enough traffic into the hospital in the overnight hours to keep the would be thieves away from our car. Like I said, the place is adequate and convenient since its located in the hospital itself, but that's about it. Nothing special at all. Of course there is no pool, gym, complimentary breakfast........nada. Very Spartan accommodations at best. All the rooms are "inside" rooms with no windows overlooking the outside.
