“Fearings, your dining room away from home”

This is one of Dallas's finest restaurants! Very creative, excellent food, wonderful atmosphere as well. The Bar has a great feel and the appetizers are good, try the mango chicken quesadillas.

“Business Dinner We Will Remember”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014

Six of us went out for a nice company dinner. The service was very good and the food was phenomenal. Even the small things, such as tempura fried okra, got the gourmet treatment. It's great to be able to enjoy this level of dining without wearing dress clothes.

“Excellent food; somewhat spotty service for Sunday brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014

Four of us decided on Sunday brunch to celebrate one's birthday. Great idea! Food choices are just varied enough to offer something for everyone, but not so overwhelming where the menu has pages and pages of info to peruse. Free valet parking is a terrific addition as well. Each one of us ordered something different, and all were enjoyable, although one person thought the famed tortilla soup to be a bit too spicy for him. Brunch price is quite economical considering the locale.
Servers work in teams; one was excellent the other not so much. The second fellow was rather sloppy when he poured any of the beverages. While attempting to clear the table he just reached in front of us rather than trying from the side or even saying "excuse me." There is plenty of food served so come hungry, or, if you choose to only eat a portion and wish to take the rest home, be very careful about asking for the box to be brought to your table so you can transfer it yourself. Otherwise, when you get home you will discover that most of the food is missing. Very, very disappointing, to say the least, as it could have been a delightful experience to taste it all over again!
While it isn't the end of the world, it is frustrating, which is why this tip is offered. Also, one tried to contact the manager just to explain the situation so it would not happen again with any other diners, but after personal information was requested and given he never called. Wasn't looking for anything free, just hoping that the server could receive better education.
We would choose to return because all in all it is a nice, casual atmosphere, the tables are not so squeezed together that one is made to feel like a sardine, and we were never, ever rushed, which are very nice attributes. We will be more careful about requesting the box to transfer food ourselves to take home if the need should arise.

“Fabulous Southwest Cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

Dean Fearing is the King of Southwest Cuisine. The dinner menu has so many great appetizers and entrees it is hard to choose what to have. The tortilla soup is the best. The antelope was very good. Will have to go back for more. The wine list is exceptional and the service is impeccable. We stayed at the Ritz so we also had breakfast at Fearings which should not be missed. Fearings is truly a remarkanle dining experience.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

Dean Fearing knows how to run a restaurant. The food is great and I like that you can sit in the super formal area or in the little area by the kitchen. Service is great too. I have never had a bad meal or poor service in this place. Go! BTW, the bar is quite a scene on its own. Worth it for just a few drinks.
