Attention to detail is a absolute. Friendly welcoming and helpful staff, lovely rooms that are spacious and very comfortable. We ate breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed the slightly Southwestern influence on the menu. Free coffee in the morning from a cart in reception and a complimentary car service to local destinations. Parking is quite expensive ($28) but the valet is very convenient. Treat yourself to a very luxurious stay. Only gripe is that the Wi Fi is not free. Why don't they build the price into the room charge, surely a critical mass of guests use it now.

Come here for the best service in Dallas. Just wish the quality of the accommodations matched the quality of the service. Although common areas are lovely and charming, rooms are slightly worn and dated. Still far better than the weirdness that seems in vogue in other high-end hotels. Bones are still superb. We'll be back, soon.

Room Tip: If traveling with a pet, choose a patio deluxe room, which has a private enclosed patio. But, these...

The property is beautiful and staff was there to serve at all times. A great experience while in Dallas and we found ourselves spending our free time right at the property. The rooms are comfortable and clean and room service was a real treat. Everyone we encountered was helpful and made us feel very comfortable. They definitely exceeded our expectations and we look to return when back in Dallas.

I spent 20 hours in this hotel from mid afternoon to late morning. The common spaces are luxurious and the staff is very attentive. When I got to the room, there was a note to me that said "we look forward to exceeding your expectations!" That was a nice touch. Room service brought me iced tea and cookies, also a nice touch. I worked out in the fitness center, which was well equipped. All that being said, my room overlooked the pool, which was small and appeared to be in the middle of a parking lot. Loud music played until well past dinner time and I could not prevent it from reaching my room (even with the balcony door closed and curtains drawn). Room service was friendly, but the food was not special. I had soup and a beet salad. I swear, the beet salad was three beets cut up with a few sprigs of arugula and a chunk of blue cheese. Pretty but more of an amuse-bouche than a salad. Also, there is nothing the hotel could do about this, but airplanes from Love Field flew overhead at a routine interval and were somewhat noisy in the late afternoon and early evening. Bottom line is a very very nice hotel and I would stay there again, but I was expecting a higher level experience. I should note, the valets were terrific, overall the staff was the best part.

We had a fantastic weekend here . We came here for July 4th weekend to celebrate in luxury after having just moved to USA.

We brought our doggy with us and he was treated like a king , doggy bowls and a bed in our room .

We chose the garden room so that we could open the door for him , which meant there was no view, but it was perfect for our requirements . The room was nicely appointed and the bed super comfy . It wasn't quite as luxurious as I expected but to be honest that is just me being picky .

The pool is small and both times we went we only stayed 5 mins but again really not a problem for us as we didn't go there to lay by the pool. It is however a pretty area with tables and food and drink service .

The hotel will shuttle you to anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel which gives you some good scope .

The mansion restaurant is spectacular , the food is beyond amazing and the service spot on . A beautiful atmosphere and great touch that they have a very knowledgeable sommelier .

The bar snacks are fab as well .

whilst we were eating in the hotel on the Saturday night the girl on reception , Kayla , took our pup out for a run about ( Kayla and Stryder got on like a house on fire ) and when we came back to the room they had left a blanket with his name stitched on it , some cookies and a nice framed photo of him and my hubby . Such a lovely touch !!

Overal,l we will be back on a regular basis for dinner and we will most certainly stay in the hotel again , i cant knock this place at all .

The management should be very proud of the staff that work for the hotel .

highly recommend

This was certainly a lovely place to stay. The building is lovely, the public areas very nice and our room was also lovely. The reception staff were very welcoming and always helpful, the concierge staff also really helpful. There is a drink in the reception area for you to help yourself to. We ate in the restaurant which was also excellent, serving a very good tasting menu and very good service. To make a stay here easy you need a car however which we didn't have. We wanted to go into town and the concierge were good to offer the hotel to drop us off as it was available. They said to ring them to find out if it was available for our way back which we did but it wasn't. They were fairly insistent that they call a cab for us and I now understand why. There are so few cabs in Dallas. I was expecting to just get one at a taxi rank somewhere, but where? It took a while for the cab the hotel called us to find us but we got back. The concierge kept in telephone contact with us from time to time right up until they had our confirmation that we were actually in the cab. This was very good of them. A lovely place, very peaceful and refined.

What a perfect place for a romantic staycation! My husband and I needed a quick weekend getaway and The Mansion was it!! The customer service is out of this world and we loved the romantic and relaxing vibe that this hotel eludes! We had the most amazing massages and the fitness facility was awesome! Perfect, perfect perfect!!
