A friend took us to Giuseppe's for dinner last evening and I must say it was a fun dining experience in a beautiful old world atmosphere and a nice change from the ordinary and the chain restaurants. The menu was interesting with a good variety of Italian dishes, including several vegetarian ones that my wife enjoys. She had the portobello mushroom dish, I had chicken piccata, while our friend had the chicken dish that came with a side of pasta in pesto sauce -- her favorite at this restaurant.
It was a slow night, and the service was off just a little, but the food was fresh and nicely prepared. It will be fun to return here in the future to explore some of their other menu and wine list options.
