Our first outing to the IPIC for our family proved to be our last. We selected IPIC this evening as a treat to see Frozen with our 3 children. Last minute selection of seats was limited, but we still felt it would be worth it to give it a try. Upon entering this establishment, we explained to the ladies who greeted us that we had never been there before. The ladies indicated where we should go to order something to eat and where our theatre was located.
The staff working the quick service side of the business had no recommendations for us. Having never been there before - we just did our best. No staff members bothered to mention that portions were enough for 4 people, so we order something for everyone in our party. $75.00 later - that was after our $65.00 entry fee - we are headed to the theatre to find our seats.
Ordering at quick service was anything but. After 20 minutes, we are still checking back at the quick service station to pick up our food. Movie previews have started at this point.
Food tasted good, seats were exceptionally comfortable, movie was good.
Staff should do a better job of telling guests how things work, making suggestions and perhaps discussing portion sizes when they see guests with young children. Especially after guests have told you they have never been there before.
Lovely idea, poor execution.
