“Not Ready for Valentine's Day”
Reviewed 26 February 2013 via mobile

Normally the food and service are good but when we went on Valentine's Day admittedly the restaurant staff was busy. We were seated quickly but after we ordered I believe that the waitress forgot to submit our order. Twenty minutes later after we flagged her down she started complaining about how it wasn't her fault even though we never accused her of anything. The food was okay but it was hit and miss with the service.

“Great local Italian restaurant”
Reviewed 2 January 2013

Alforno's is a wonderful small town restaurant with great Italian food. The pasta and pizza are very good and if you come after 5pm you'll get freshly-baked garlic rolls with the meal. They have a separate dining room that is perfect for large groups or parties. A plus is that if you don't see some specific pasta dish on the menu, they are always willing to adjust to your desires.
Don't try that at any big chain! :)

“Have to eat here at least one time a month. Mostly take out pizza.”
Reviewed 12 December 2012 via mobile

Alforno's Chicken Alforno is delicious. The chicken isn't always consistent though sometimes (more than once) it's been dry. Service depends on the server, it's a bit pricey but we love their pizza. Especially the supreme. If you get tired of the same franchise pizza give this a try you'll be delighted. I like the atmosphere it's a little more intimate and quiet. They do serve wine but I couldn't tell you if it's good. Family run business. Definitely a repeat place for us.

“Good food, bad service”
Reviewed 30 April 2012

Alfornos had been a family favorite for many years. The food is consistently good; the seafood ravioli and the alfredo have been our go to dishes here. The pizza is always good too.
The service has always been erratic, but our last visit it was very slow and the order got messed up by our server. He was not busy so I'm not sure why. So beware, if you end up with a party of 6 or (even if they just drop by to say hello) you will trigger the automatic 20% gratuity add -on. In this case, the service certainly didn't warrant the imposed gratuity. I left disappointed by the experience and will not recommend this restaurant for dine-in anymore. Luckily they do take-away.
