We thought it was pricey for what you saw, lovely old Cadillac V8 on display with a holster and six gun by the drivers seat.

I attended a wedding here in the museum. The facilities were very nice and it was great having the entire museum to walk through and look at while we were waiting for the photographer to take all of his pictures. There was so much to look at I'd recommend setting aside at least an hour or two to read everything. My husband is a huge rodeo fan and there are dozens of small booths set up for each hall of famer. My favorite were all of the carriages and wagons. I would definitely recommend this museum to anyone who is truly interested in the history of the cowboy.

This place is in the center of the Stockyards District next to the visitor's center. There are lots of old wagons and information on the early days of cowboys. Each candidate has a 6ft stall with all the information on their career. They are in chronological order on when each was inducted into the hall of fame. The wagons are in the middle of the exhibit. There is a gift shop in the front to & from the exhibit. At least an hour to see it all. Seniors get $1 off the $5 admission.

We spent all day in the Stockyards, and this was by far my favorite. If you are at all interested in Pro-rodeo history, rodeo history in general, old horse equipment (HUGE wall of bits that is super cool), and restored buggies and such, this is the place to visit. My only comment on this place is that they should have a book of history on all the super cool carriages and buggies available for sale-but that's just me......... Lol

Growing up in Texas you know a lot about the bull riders and the "old times" but to actually see the wagons and to see the videos and memorabilia was amazing. It actually had more of an effect on me
