“Nice hotel, good location”
Reviewed 7 June 2012

The rooms here are really nice, big and well appointed. The common area are wonderful and so is the gym. This was my favorite hotel for a little while but since it doesn't include breakfast unless you're on the executive level, I've moved on. Top 5 in Fort Worth; nice but just not my favorite any more.

Stayed at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel on the recommendation of the Fort Worth Opera. The Hotel is centrally located and has all the amenities I needed (Starbucks, Vidalia's Restaurant, Bar, Athletic Center and valet parking.

Room Tip: Late evenings around Sundance Square can be quite noisy with young revelers, but the hotel insulatio...

I expect a higher level of quality when I stay at a Renaissance. So I was pretty annoyed with this particular one. It is in a great location in downtown Ft Worth. Attractive lobby, nice sized rooms with beautiful tooled leather furniture, great service. However the noise from the elevators completely spoils this place. We were on the opposite side of the elevators about 6 rooms away. The whirring mechanism of the elevators was annoyingly loud in the room. You could hear it ascend and descend all day, all night, nonstop. The hotel is very busy and full so changing rooms isn't an option either.

FYI - martinis are $13.50 in the hotel bar. Go to the Reata bar where they are $7 and on the rooftop!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room, away from elevators.

Excellent location in the heart if Fort Worth and Sundance Square. Evening stroll around the square was pleasant and we enjoyed the abundance of restaurants available without getting back in our car. Our room was larger than average hotel offers and was nicely furnished

I have stayed at the worthington numerous time over the past few years. I am always attracted to the location ( right off sundance square and near reatta and several other great dinning spots). The hotel is average at best for what you spend. Average size rooms, nothing luxurious and i would say falls in the middle of the renaissance chain vs. recently remodeled properties. Concierge lounge is a joke. Food was poor, attendant was not in attendance. It's a great pit stop on the 8th floor to grab some free water and possibly a WSJ ( since they didn't drop one at the room). Just depends on what you expect, as someone who travels 200 nights a year this is disappointing. If your grabbing a room on priceline, you would be happy.

I have stayed at this hotel a total of three times over the past 6 months. As a result I have seen things improve a tad bit from my first visit last December. The entire property is now WIFI accessible. The valet service is exceptional, concierge is also very helpful.
Fantastic location - except for the fact that there are a lot of detours around sidewalks since there is a lot of construction going on around the area.
The dining options around town are great and offer limitless potential for great dining; which the hotel seems unable to provide - The room service options are still quite limiting.

Room Tip: City view is better, avoids construction site views on the other side

Great location! Walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. But will probably not be staying here again...for several annoying reasons.

1) Do NOT stay in ANY of the #41 rooms! They are noisey! And management knows it. 50% of people staying in the rooms near the elevator have to be moved due to the noise (if you are not a sound sleeper). After unpacking and settling - that is a huge aggravation.

2) Daily parking fee is $22.00.

3)The front desk staff leaves quite a bit to be desired.

4) Oh and a refrigerator in the room? Extra $35/ NIGHT!!!! Seriously? At $200/night?

5) Room service three times for breakfast. And ALL THREE times there was an error: missing croissant, no banana available for a strawberry/banana smoothie (are you kidding me?), and the last time a rotten/stale/smelly/cold croissant.

Best part - Juan the Conciege. He is the most motivated and helpful person I have ever met in this position. Ask him anything! He will help.

Room Tip: Do NOT stay anywhere near the elevator! Very noisy!
