A group of girls and I came down to go wine tasting and we stayed at the Olivia House! We absolutely loved it! The house was cozy and warm feeling, and the backyard had an awesome lounge area to sit at! We went wine tasting and then came back and the girls either went to take a nap in their own rooms, or we went out and hung out outside! This area allowed us to all sit around each other and talk! It does have a TV you can turn on, but we never did. It also has a cool older bar that you can sit around, but not very many seats to do that with.
The kitchen had everything you might need, utensils wise, and they even had some old stuff left from different groups, ie cups plates! We cooked dinner there one night. We brought a couple casserole dishes.
This location was also in the heart of town. It was one block off Main and we were able to navigate easily and get to the bars fine. We went to I think it was called Buc's both nights (local Karaoke Bar) and it was FANTASTIC! We had so much fun!
I would recommend this to anyone!
Olivia's is in a great location that's hard to beat for walking to Main Street shops and restaurants. Literally right behind Hondo's restaurant but noise never a problem. We had 3 couples staying here and it worked out well. We really enjoyed the outdoor area and spent quite a bit of our time hanging out there. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative is the second bathroom with the tub needs to be made available as a shower. Six adults having to use the one bathroom with a shower sort of puts a cramp in things when trying to get ready for the day. Also, would have been nice to have a hair dryer available in the house.
