Amazing Food! My husband and I shared the Fried Chicken. It came with green, mashed potatoes, and corn bread! Great coffee!

This was our 2nd choice of restaurants in Fredericksburg for a late lunch (from Trip Advisor - the other was only open for dinner). We were impressed with the ambiance, fantastic food and service we received. Beverages, cheese platter and Sandwiches were all perfect. Pricey for most people, but great stop on our vacation day in Fredericksburg, Texas during Memorial Day weekend.

The restaurant is situated below what looks to be an upscale furniture store. It is well decorated and looks like a picture out of a Restoration Hardware catalog. We had a wonderful brick oven pizza and wine. Our waiter had great recommendations and was attentive, while still giving us our privacy. It is a little pricy but worth it for the ambiance and service!

I was in Fredericksburg with a bunch of friends and our last stop before we headed home was at Vaudeville. The menu on the street caught our interest as it highlighted a cheese platter. Several of us shared the 5 cheese platter, the dip platter and the meat platter. It was such a treat. All the cheeses were new to me, all made from sheep milk, from mild to strong. The dip platter was delicious, my favorite was the ricotta with olive oil and pepper. The meat tray was filled with salami, proscuitto, and several other types of meat that you could eat with cheese or on a cracker or bread. We loved our meal. We did however make sure to save room for dessert which was so good we each bought two, one to eat or share there and one to take home. My favorite was the Pots d'creme, but there was a Pistachio Tiramisu that was delicious and unique. Everything we tried at Vaudeville was amazing, I highly recommend this restaurant. They had main entree's also that looked delicious, but we wanted to make sure we had room for dessert so maybe I will try those next time! Bon Appetit!

Had lunch here with two kids last week. Let me just sum it up with one word - fantastic. The lunch menu is pretty limited but what they do offer is super fresh and cooked to perfection. Even the salad dressing was delicious. My only complaint is the cost....1 x Chicken salad, 1 x quiche, 2 x grilled cheese, 3 x soft drinks and 3 x cookies - $75.
PS the cookies are amazing. Especially the smores one. We actually returned on our way out of town to buy more for the trip.

Dear SUNNYBLUE1234,

We are so glad you enjoyed your food!

Our menu items reflect market prices consistent with our prime location in the highly trafficked Central Historic District of Fredericksburg & with our insistence on providing customers with ingredients of the highest quality. If we want to stay in business & maintain this level of quality, we unfortunately cannot absorb these costs & must pass along in our menu prices.

Our made-from-scratch cookies and desserts have always been a hit with customers - we are thrilled you liked them so much.

We look forward to serving you again soon on your next trip to Fredericksburg! We'll save some cookies for you! :-)

Thank you for your feedback,

John Wells - Vaudeville
