We were looking for a place to stop for coffee between hiking and wine tasting. We passed Ranch Road Roasters on our way to Hondo's for lunch and decided to stop on the way back to the car. We are so pleased with our choice! We tried two of the specials. The first was the double espresso with a lime twist. It was unexpectedly good. The second was the latte with honey and vanilla. One of our friends described it as marshmallow-flavored. All I know is that it didn't have a strong coffee flavor nor was it bitter--the perfect latte for the two of us who aren't coffee drinkers. While eating breakfast on our last day, I asked the other 3 in our group what their favorite meal in Fredericksburg was. All agreed, "The coffee!"
Do note that the location is 388 W Main Street and that they are closed on Sunday!
