“Lots to do in Galveston”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

Great for walking, riding bikes or ricks haws, which are available for rent. Shopping and the pier with it's many carnival like rides. We arrived end April, spring break and lots of activity. Seaweed covered the beach up and down the coast. Was told by local happens this time every year. We did not walk on beach but Seawall provided plenty of room for activities and strolling.

“Walking after dinner”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

One of the great things about staying at Geido's is how convenient it is. After a wonderful dinner there on their property at Geidos or Casey's you walk across the street (I strongly suggest using the lights for crossing) and then can walk along the water on the seawall.

“Ok”

The sea wall is nice if you are from a landlocked state but not the best beach in the US. I like because it is a day trip but overall just average.

“Nice beach area”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

Even though the weather was wet and windy we walked a lot of the seawall which was great. Easy access to the beach area which made it nice.

“A Given! !”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

The Seawall atmosphere is the main reason for me. All people are different, but I enjoy the area. You can eat and drink in any way you want. Every corner has a choice . Of course, this is a personal opinion, but it is my personal getaway.
