Who would not want to go to where there is harmful algae, chemical toxins, oil spills and poison fish?
If that does not make you want to go there, then the bleak refinery cities on the coast will make you want to spend a day on the Gulf.

Kids has a great time playing in the ocean. Boardwalk was great, lots of restaurants to choose from. Only down side was all the seaweed that had washed ashore. Was very smelly. Nature at her best.

Jet ski rental was awesome, guys by the hilton we so nice. :) All the sea weed smelled really bad, we were at the free beach. Got to see the shrimp boats and fish were jumping around.

So relaxing to walk up and down the seawall. Really enjoyed the tacos from the little taco stand set up by the yummy snow cone place. The seaweed was not bad at all this trip. Where it was bad at the beginning of July.

The Seawall is great but remember to take a debit or creidt card as you have to pay for parking, its $1.00/hour and you do it through an app on your phone. The shops were great, the speed limit is too high for that many people so be careful when crossing.
