when most hotels regular rates were over $300. The island hotels were pretty much completely sold out with a marathon and beauty pageant going on. While dated and somewhat small, I thought the room was fine. The bed was a little on the soft side. Our balcony looked out the back, onto an industrial area. Air conditioning in the room was terrific. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The pool looked fun, with a great pool bar and d.j. Parking was available. The location was great, right across from the beach and a nice Kroger store is a block away.
