“Dolphins!”
Reviewed 5 December 2013

The ride is free and you can get out of your car and stand and watch. There were dolphins playing everywhere! Watch if you stand up front you will get splashed especially if the water is rough.

“What a great ride”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

One od the best "cruises" ever. While we stayed on the peninsula going into Galeston meant a ride on the ferry. As it was November there were no big beach crowds and no lines for the ferry. We saw numerous dolphins and brown pelicans. We got sea spray in our faces and waves over the bow...it was great. Short ride, so no problems with sea sickness. Just a lot of free fin in the 10-15 minute trip. Could have gone back and forth for hours!

“Free and quick service.”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

Lovely trip across from Galveston to a quieter area. Crossing is free and the on the 15 min journey we saw lots of interesting shipping, seabirds and dolphins. Take drinks and snacks or eat before you leave as there is very little in the way of food outlets for quite a distance.

“Free fun”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

Park & ride the ferry is the easiest and no delays loading a car onboard. Loads of dolphins & birds to see. Bring your camera. Had a great time. Lots of room on the rail to see everything and went inside when it got misty from the fog.
