Kids are ok because the noise levels covers it. Wide selection of food. Long lines but to be expected in tourist spot.

The restaurant section of The Spot is separate from the other sections of the establishment. You walk in, order your food and drinks at a counter, pay and get a pager that alerts you when your food is ready. There are waitstaff who bring your drinks to the table but then you have to go back downstairs (in our case we ate upstairs on the open air balcony) to get your food.
The food quality and quantity was good. I would go back but be aware of the temperature and wind before choosing to sit outside.

Had a burger and onion rings. The onion rings were homemade and very good. The burger seemed like a premade patty but it was still good. I will eat here again. It's not a five guys burger but five guys doesn't have a nice view of the Gulf. They have a fixins bar where you can decorate your own burger. The place was very clean particularly as busy as it was.

Visited The Spot on a busy and chilly Friday evening. Somewhat confusing as there are five different themed bar/restaurants to chose from. Was surprised to learn that you ordered your food at the counter, then took a pager which alerted you when your food was ready. When you're paying $16-18 for your entree you don't expect a fast food approach. If you're looking for very casual dining with a beer and a burger, this would work well. Otherwise, try many other options along the Seawall.
