Saturday during Memorial Day weekend we took a 1 hour drive to Galveston and strolled the strand for a seafood dining experience and decided on Willie G's Seafood, not having been there before. 2 of us arrived about 1:30pm, no crowd and asked for a view of the pier inside. Waiter was attentive and charming; Bloody Mary and Mimosa were well made. Shared the house salad which was large and filled with many fresh ingredients. Entree was fried shrimp and stuffed shrimp with fries which were very tasty. The batter was not what I expected and a bit thicker than I preferred. Next time I will try something from the grill. For 2 lunch with 2 cocktails, tax, tip was $80.
