This motel offers very competitive rates with a good central location on the seawall. The beds were very comfortable and had comforters that combined for a good night of sleep. They are remodeling some rooms but it wasnt an issue. I recommend this property if you are looking for value and a nice place to stay.

This was our second time at this hotel and once again we were pleased. The rooms are nice and reasonably priced. The hotel's location is excellent. It is right across the street from the beach. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant right in front of the hotel, along with a few other restaurants within walking distance. There is also a Walmart and grocery store a couple blocks away. The hotel is also across the street from a fishing pier. Hotel staff is very friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Third time we have stayed in Galveston in the last 2 years, and each time we come back to this hotel. Can’t beat the great price for off season during the week, especially considering the view and close beach access. Lowest we’ve paid anywhere for this quality room and breakfast. Price does increase considerably on weekends and peak season tho. All rooms have balconies with ocean views, not front facing but angled at the sides of the building and sufficient to enjoy a good view and take pics. Best views are from the top (5TH floor). Clean comfortable up-to-date rooms with fridge and microwave. Breakfast was typical and good for Quality Inns (waffles, eggs, biscuits w sausage gravy, fruit, yogurt, etc.) with a good sized breakfast area. Easy walk down the block and across Seawall Blvd to access the beach. It’s a busy street but to access the beach you have to cross it from all hotels in the area. Good crosswalks with buttons to press to give you the signal to walk. Staff was friendly and courteous. Wifi was fast and easy to access.

Room Tip: For best views ask for top (5th) floor. Facing out from inside the hotel the sunrise is on the left side, sunset is on the right. Ask if you want those particular views. Only King rooms are on 2nd floor.

A really nice experience. We were in town for a 60th wedding anniversary and wasn't concerned about all the amenities of a more expensive hotel but were pleasantly surprised. I had an issue with the coffee pot and a new pot was brought up 5 minutes after I called. Wonderful selection for the free breakfast. The personnel could not have been nicer. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable beds with good pillows, nice little balcony provided somewhat of a view of beach, very good continental breakfast, staff very accommodating - especially enjoyed chatting with friendly cleaning lady! Located on south end of beach area so not convenient to walk but that was fine for us. Good rate. I recommend and would stay there again!

Room Tip: The higher floors and rooms facing north have better view.
