“Challenging golf in a beautiful setting”
Reviewed 19 May 2012

With two courses, no problem handling the Texas Women's Amateur Golf Association annual match play tournament on the Links course, although parking was tight on a busy pubic day at the Creeks course. Nice warm up/practice/putting greens, pro shop, snack bar with limited menu, cart girls, and outstanding staff. Efficient pro, friendly marshalls -- what more could you want? Nice pavillion for dinners, lunches, awards ceremonies. Dry county so must join club to buy beer, spirits. Bird watchers' paradise with herons, egrets, owls, cardinals, hawks, woodpeckers, geese, ducks and more. Fish in the creeks.

“Dog tired but very happy”
Reviewed 25 April 2012

There are two courses here, the Links and the Lakes. Rated very high by consumers for great golf, excellent customer service and very user friendly....did I say challenging? Yes, very, but in a good way. Very well maintained and country like setting. Great rates mid week - already planning our next trip.

“No trees”
Reviewed 31 December 2011

This golf course was not like the usual. There were simply no trees and it felt unnatural. It looked like the moon, with a lot of bumps. There was no real feel to the course.

“A good set of golf courses”
Reviewed 29 November 2011

A group of about 40 of us having been taking a yearly trip down to Squaw Valley for some time now. The head pro always does a great job of making sure we are taken care of and organized. The courses themselves are very different from each other and presents their own kind of challenges . One has lots of trees and water the other a more links style with moguls and traps. Both are very fun to play. They have a large range and putting area as well as traps and short game area.
