We spent a weekend at these cabins: the lake is beautiful; the restaurant near the
premises is great….that’s where the good ends, the cabins have dirty bathrooms
(those plastic cutout showers), the water pressure was minimal, there were
actually holes in the walls of the cabin. The beds had no box spring, so you
have to try to sleep on a mattress about three inches thick with metal coils
poking through it. Towels were thin, poor grade and the kitchen was outdated
and uninviting (the appliances were old and rusty). The television was a 31
inch with no cable and it actually stopped working by the second night anyway.
The staff was uncaring and ready to take your money for any mild violation (a
pet fee of $20 per night was added, although the dog was more concern for the
cleanliness of the cabin instead of the other way around). These people are out
to make money (who isn’t it’s the American way!) but put very little back into
this place. It needs remodeling yesterday and a little investment in better
bedding and a little more cleaning; it appears to me that effort will not be
made any time soon.More
