I enjoyed just sitting and being quiet in the mornings with my coffee. There are public restrooms, a boardwalk from the Hilton to the other side of the beach accessing waterfront condos and a short walk downtown to the square.

Even though the lake level has suffered because of drought the last two years, this is still a
clean beach to relax or bring the kids. You can walk to 'the square' and there are many stores
and restaurants available. Also has free parking available and a small snack-bar.

It's sad to see the cumulative affect of the drought Texas has suffered the last couple of years. Lake Granbury is slowly disappearing. Unusually hot temperatures of 105 made the beach experience unbearable and we quickly retreated back to our room at the Hilton. The lake is down almost 6 feet and quickly drying up. Many boathouses around the perimeter are high and dry and boating may not be very safe.

Water is currently low and some areas had rocks which were hard on the feet. But the kids enjoyed playing in the water. Overall very clean. Kids also enjoyed the splash pad

This is a fun little beach where children and adults can play. With the water down in the lake, it is a littler small.

People were having a lot of fun over the 4th, even with low water.
