First visit to this restaurant. Service was good but the food though plentiful was just average . Wait stff was pleasant but the chef was not engaging with the customers.

Visited here on our first night in Granbury and went back again a couple of days later we enjoyed it so much. Pleasant interior, excellent sushi and attentive staff. Very helpful menu which noted sushi items which were spicy and which were not. We tried fried ice cream for the first time and it was very good, a bit like ice cream in a warm doughnut. The restaurant also had an hibachi room (teppanyaki for us Brits) but we didn't try that although it seemed always to be busy.

Surprisingly good sushi in Granbury! The Hibachi is also very fun and tasty! The brothers that own and operate this restaurant are very good at what they do!

My poor son-in-law had to work over the 4th, so when he came into town to join the rest of us we made sure to take him to Miyako for sushi. Yum yum!
They have all kinds to try, and even my west Texas-raised husband enjoyed the choices. My daughter and son-in-law are pretty hard core, so they enjoyed the nigiri (red snapper and salmon), but we stuck to safe choices such as the Gator Roll, Fire & Ice, and the Granbury Roll.
For the four of us, including wines and beer, the evening cost about $100. Our waitress, Megan, was attentive, and I didn't think (as some others have said) that it was too noisy.
We really enjoyed our evening!

If you want a great experience, this is perfect!! The food is AWESOME, the service is amazing, and the experience itself is most enjoyable! You will not be disappointed! Though it is a little pricy, it is truely worth it!! Especially fun with a crowd! Be careful though, ran into an old boy friend on a date, not sure he enjoyed the meal as much as my friends and his date did. Pretty sure I saw him sweating! hehehe
