“Good and consistent food, good value”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

We go to this location about once a month, and the food is always consistent with a good value. We usually get their steak fajitas with refried beans instead of charro beans, and they are wonderful. We get a the fajita plate for one, but it is large enough with the free chips and salsa (you can request to get hotter salsa if you want) to make a nice meal, and we are given extra tortillas for the fajitas. If we are hungrier than usual, we get the white queso dip with spinach added. While this may not sound good, it is awesome, and it is not on the menu currently, but was at one time. It is creamy and it just is something you can't get anywhere else we know of.
We also get their sopapillas on occasion. They serve either a half or whole order on a large dinner plate, and it covers the whole plate one layer deep for a half order. They are light and large-4 to each plate. Then they make a honey, butter, and bourbon (I think) sauce to top off these brown beauties and then sprinkle them with powdered sugar. They are so good, we almost lick the plate when we are through.
Management there is usually good, and service is friendly and somewhat fast, and the location is easy to get to.
Food is consistently good, and the price is in line with any other Mexican food place, and if you become a free member of the Habanero club, you get $10 on your card for every 10th visit plus an anniversary $10 for every year you are a member and also something for your birthday.
Go give it a try,

“Good food!”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

The food is pretty good and I've been going here for years. Service can be "iffy" in the bar.
I had the fish tacos last week and they were good. The salsa leaves a lot to be desired but the queso is good and so are the chips and flours tortillas. My Margarita was excellent. $7.95 and well worth it!

“Never Disappoints”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

The Tex Mex here is excellent. Lots of flavour. Great chips and salsa. I really like the combos you can put together on your own. Lots of sides to choose from. Love the chicken tamales. Seating is quick with attentive service. We go twice a month. Never disappoints.

“Bad food, bad taste”
Reviewed 5 February 2014 via mobile

The only good thing about my visit was the beer and the jalapeño toreado, the rest of the food was poor quality, bad taste. We are from Latin America so we know what is good Mexican food. Don't go to this place.

“Not a great place to take kids.”
Reviewed 2 January 2014

Me my wife and daughter went to the restaurant at lunch time 12 noon, and there were a good amount of people there. It seemed like we were the only ones with a kid. The service was good but I know we weren't the only ones there. The food is priced okay but the drinks are kinda high "alcohol that is". I've been there many times but this time the food came out really quick. We were in and out in about a half an hour paid and all. No need to buy an appetizer they start you off with chips and salsa at no cost "Great Salsa!". Good place to unwind.
