Nice, clean and comfortable room. Although hotel is older, but to me it is the quality of the room that counts. Very professional and friendly staff. Love the complimentary breakfast. Different hot items were served during the 4 days I was there. Close to Six Flags and Cowboy stadium. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for accommodation in the area.

We stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip. Overall the property was clean, if a bit run down. The hot breakfast is great, and the wifi works well. My biggest complaint was that our room did not have a mini fridge or microwave. It was a good place for our purposes, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want the hotel to be part of your travel experience. This would be a great hotel for someone traveling on business or for vacation that just needs a clean and comfortable roof over their head.

Everything was fine except for the elevators, which were not in great shape. It's an older property, but perfect for our trip. Everything was clean and in good order. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when needed.

Manager the night of 7/12 was rude and had horrible customer service. We were put in a room with non working AC. He could not reaccomodate us and wasnt concerned that we were dissatisfied. I have always stayed at Hampton Inns due to customer service and comfort of rooms. I filed a formal complaint with the Hilton family chain against this hotel due to I am a hilton honors memeber. Pool was extremely loud at 12 MN

Overall the stay was good. It was close to the attractions that we wanted to attend. However, we had loud neighbors. Kids slamming doors, drinking parents that would not make them stop even AFTER the manager confronted them with complaints, two separate time. I don't blame the hotel or its staff for this issue but honestly they should have asked them to leave. We were offered another room but with only one bed and not two. (not suitable for us) Next morning upon checking out we were asked how our stay was. We expressed we were not happy due to noisy neighbors. They were QUITE aware of the issue. To our surprise we were refunded our money. Nice surprise.

The hotel is old and in need of renovations and updates, the elevators had foul smells, the rooms were small and the walls were paper thin. Our biggest complaint had to do with the inappropriately loud noise levels coming from the adjacent room. We complained to the front desk at least 5 times from 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM to report slamming doors, loud TV noise, and yelling coming from the next door room. Each time, the man at the front desk simply called the noise filled room to request they be quiet. The walls are so thin we could hear the phone ring and the ensuing conversations. With each phone call from the front desk, the room occupants became louder and more inappropriate. When we made the final complaint at 12:30 AM, the front desk man stated, "I have called them and they say they are asleep. There is nothing I can do because you are the only one complaining." To say the least, his lack of action combined with the overwhelmingly inappropriate behavior from the next door room resulted in an absolutely miserable night. To top off our miserable stay, we went down for breakfast which was reportedly served from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM at 8:50 AM only to find all they had left was cold muffins, pastries, and juice. When asked about the advertised "hot" foods such as eggs, bacon, biscuits, and muffins, we were told, "sorry, but we are out." NEVER, EVER again will we stay at this hotel and we STRONGLY recommend you consider another hotel if you value your ability to sleep peacefully.

Extremely small rooms at the HAMP-ton... the ton part of the light was out. Should have been the 1st clue. The ceilings are suffocatingly low and the rooms are extremely small. Don't eat breakfast at 6am or you will get the left overs from the day before. The 2nd night we stayed here, we tried it again later and it was a lot better than the morning before. The ac was immaculate surprisingly and stayed on throughout the entire night. Also another perk was that it was in a good location. I would definitely stay somewhere else if in the area again though. I'm not sure if it was once a smoking facility or if someone in a nearby room was a freight train, but the 3rd floor was overwhelmed with the smell of a burnt ashtray.

Room Tip: If you actually book here, stay off the 3rd floor unless your a smoker.
