We stopped by just by chance on our walk through the downtown area. The male working was very helpful and helped us find a place to eat. We enjoyed the wine selection and even bought our favorite to share at home.

This is a small place but it was perfect to just sit back and get out of the heat.

We also enjoyed the live music. Overall the atmosphere was relaxing and cozy.

Nice setting on the main strip. The wines were good with the selection available. I would recommend this place on your way through town. I believe they do the ghost tours from this spot if i'm correct.

Tried a flight of wine and also frozen daiquiris - wine samplings were good, but the frozen drinks were tasty, although not worth the price. Friendly service from the knowledgeable bartender.

OK, let's start out with the good. This is a small place on the historic plaza with fairly reasonably priced and decent wines blended in house. If you're in the area, it's not a bad choice for a glass or two of wine. I'd give it a solid 2-3 rating, as the downside is that food is limited to merely some cheese/meat trays, more on that later.

However, if you're thinking about a party or event, please reconsider. We, along with some other family members, were hosting an engagement shower for our niece and the other hosting couple chose this spot based on those past few glasses of wine.

They were told that the party room was available for a $300 deposit that would be credited against wine purchases - a free room, they thought. Hmm, no such thing, of course, but we were committed. We did a tasting and reserved the wines and asked about food options. No kitchen, but they could do some cheese trays, we could bring stuff in. We were told they would provide plates, napkins, glasses, etc.

So we go with a meat/cheese tray for our 35 RSVPs to minimize what we bring in ourselves. Small room, with some overflow, no kitchen, no fresh food, hmm, it's a challenge, but doable.

So we show up a half hour or so before the appointed time, and....the room is dark, our wine order has been lost (in fact the guy who took the order doesn't even remember us from 3 weeks earlier), the cheese trays haven't been made yet. We scramble to set up what we have as our guests begin to arrive.

OK, we have some bottles of wine and they are working on the meat/cheese trays, which, sadly turn out to be 6 small plates with a few cheese wedges, some salami, a spoonful of raisins, a half-dozen grapes and a few dozen crackers. Seriously small. They manage to find some plates and napkins and I've brought other stuff, so we are on, but pretty much on our own. We scavenge the small prep room as needed for basic supplies. We bus our tables, step up to the bar to request more wine, we ask for AC, which apparently is having problems, we search for a trash can. But our guests are enjoying the wine and having fun.

Now, they tell us that, forget that I ordered the cheese trays for 35 @ $7/person, and what they plated looks like maybe $2-3/person for a smaller group. They are doing an actual headcount to charge us. Surprise, or maybe not, they come up with 20% more than our RSVPs. Hmmm. We were spilling out of the room as we sweated. Perhaps they included everyone in the restaurant. Who knows.

We clean up ourselves and settle up. Final insult: the add-on gratuity for large groups. OK, I get that's standard, but that normally applies when some service is actually provided. For us, that service was limited to uncorking those bottles of wine and setting them on the table only after our requests. Yep, that "free" room cost at least a few hundred dollars more than expected, and we, the, hosts, basically did most of the work.

The wine is decent, the location is fine, but service, while striving to be friendly, is totally unacceptable. That 2-3 rating dips below a 1 for a group. I would not use this place again.
