“Nice little place...”
Reviewed 9 May 2012 via mobile

We stopped in here for lunch and a wine sampling. The wine sampling curiously isn't on the menu, but was available when we asked. Our server was attentive and funny. The food was excellent and portions were large enough for left overs. The wine was good, but not the best of the wineries we sampled. For that, I'd recommend D'vine. I'd certainly come to this little place again and again.

“Great local spot for wine, appetizers, and music”
Reviewed 28 April 2012

Nice atmosphere. Came for dinner on a Saturday evening. Live music, decent food selection. Good local wine options. The food was nothing special, but a great inviting and comfortable atmosphere and worth visiting again.

“Fabulous hidden outdoor patio”
Reviewed 25 April 2012

Loved the outdoor patio, service great, food good, nice wine list.
Waitress recommended we try the kahlua cake...secret recipe, etc. The other desserts came from a bakery. It was good and all, no taste of kahlua and seemed like something I've had before. Well while waiting to use the restroom, I notice in the kitchen tons of boxes of yellow cake mix and chocolate pudding. So basically we were served a box chocolate pudding cake that may or may not have had kahlua in it with some chocolate sauce and whipped cream.. Kind of disappointed that there wasn't some secret recipe. I expect from scratch....when I go to a fine restaurant. Not some high-fructose corn syrup with partially hydrogenated oils. Try to avoid that stuff!!!

“Frozen sangrias wounderful”
Reviewed 31 March 2012 via mobile

Meat balls with a pesto sauce over Penni pasta. I will order it again. Shrimp in garlic sauce a bit small. Patio out back makes the trip complete.

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed 26 February 2012

Went to Farinas on a Saturday evening with a group of about 20 people while in Dallas for a meeting. We called ahead for a reservation and was seated in a room towards the back of the restaurant. The seating arrangement was unusual because we were seated around a large square table with the chairs almost against the wall. You had to shout across the table to be heard. There was live music that night which made it harder to carry on a conversation even though the door was closed. Our waitresses were friendly and attentive.

Restaurant appears to be situated in downtown Grapewine. Liked the inside which reminded me of a saloon with lots of unpainted wood and timber. This gave a warm feeling walking in. The food was good. Good selection of wines but also seemed expensive. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the loud noise.
