“Be prepared to walk a lot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2011

The kids loved this place. Lots of stores (some outlet stores)but really no bargins and more for fun not really upscale shopping. They have rides and a big merry go round for kids many candy stores and a huge food court. We were there a few times and like the Corner Bakery also ate at the Rain Forrest (food average)but kids might like the atmoshere.I like Books a Million (a huge bookstore with lots of books music etc).Lego land is inside the mall .The Bass Pro Shop is my favorite if you fish, camp etc if they make it ,it is there.A very pretty mall but it would be better if you didn't have to walk so much.

“Great way to spend a rainy day!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 October 2011

We spent some time in Grapevine Mills Mall on a rainy day during our visit to Dallas. The mall is large with many outlet stores. There is a nice mix of "normal" stores as well as a few higher-end stores.

We ate at the Corner Bakery for lunch and it was excellent! The meal portions (and prices) are reasonable and the desserts are amazing! (I highly recommend getting a slice of the pumpkin loaf!)

We were able to purchase 2011 Rangers Playoff shirts (for the Rangers game that we had planned on attending until it was rained out) at the Texas Fan store for a good price.

We spent quite a bit of time looking around JCPenney and Bass Pro Shops. Both were nice stores. The Bass Pro Shops was a separate store within the complex that you had to drive to and it was HUGE!! We wanted to purchase several things, but since we were flying back, we were very limited on space and did not buy much.

Overall, I would say that if you really enjoy shopping or are stuck on a rainy day without much to do, this would be a good attraction to visit.

“I hate this place”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2011

I grew up on Grapevine, I remember when GM mall first opened. It was awesome! Now, it's just a run down outlet mall full of trashy people and crappy product. I can't believe a mall in that location has hit the dumps so fast!

“DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME...ESPECIALLY FOR LEGOLAND”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 July 2011

We visited this place on July 16th, 2011. I'm a mom with two young children (ages 3 and 1). First off, the mall was just okay. Didn't really see any stores of interest so pretty much walked around. I chose to take my kids to Legoland because the line to Sea Life was way too long (just opened July 12). Well I probably chose wrong because Legoland was pointless. You enter to a small waiting where you watch a 15 minute movie, then you go into another small room where an overly enthusiastic Lego professor briefly describes how legos are made. After that, you move into a line that takes you and a 2 minute ride to shoot legos in Kingdom Quest (waste of time). Then you enter the Discover Center that is super tiny and not really exciting for kids. The space is small and really just blah. So disappointed for spending the money ($19 for adults and $15 for kids). DON'T GO!!!
