Good size lake, with not too many boaters on it. The was boat rentals, jet skis and sailboats. Big enough to ski on, but not too big as to get lost.

There is not much to do but I still had fun, I came here with some friends. There is no fee for entering the lake on the park we went (Murrel park) .Only if you plan to camp they charge you. There are grills to start a BBQ right on the lake.Swimming is also fun to do but the water was so murky , I did some snorkeling but there isn't much to see under the water there is no visibility.
There are also trails to hike or bike around unfortunately we didn't get to them. Nice place to relax and enjoy the sunset.

Located minutes away from DFW International Airport, Grapevine Lake provides fun activities for people of all ages. You can take a relaxing sailboat cruise, rent power boats or reserve a party barge with all your friends. Friday night fireworks from Memorial Day to Labor Day caps off the evening in a terrific way!

This lake is a hidden TX gem!!! Just visited for a second time for a birthday picnic and enjoyed!! We were able to swim, take pics, and catch the sunset. The entrance fee is $5 per vehicle. Plenty of picnic tables, grills, kids playground, and restroom available.
