“Historic small town feel”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

Downtown Grapevine is a cute, quaint little town. Main Street has great seafood and steak restaurants, 2 tasting rooms, a Christian book store, handmade lady apparel stores and a home décor store. The tasting rooms are lots of fun with a group of people. The Christian book store offers coffee that smells heavenly.

The Grapevine Christmas parade is a must see. The talking Christmas tree is huge. The Disney like floats are incredible. Get there early to get great views of the floats and see all the lights.

The Grapevine Wine Day is fun. $4 per tasting but the entry fee. Or you can purchase the Wine Tent tickets and wait in long lines to taste wine. Not what I call enjoyable but some people like this event.

“Not much to see and not stroller friendly”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

A lot of stores with the same things over and over - only 2 tasting rooms - the farmers market & shopping market were cute - but not worth the trip. Lots of stairs and platforms on one side of street - not stroller friendly

Thank you for your feedback on Historic Downtown Grapevine. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Four of Grapevine's Winery Tasting rooms are located in Historic Downtown Grapevine. Su Vino, D'Vine Wine, Homestead and Farina's. Delaney Vineyards and Cross Timbers Winery are just a short drive away. We hope you will visit us again soon, as two new winery tasting rooms will be opening in Historic Downtown Grapevine by Jan 2015.
In regards to the sidewalks and pathways, all intersections and crosswalks feature wheelchair ramps. These are the best and safest places to cross for those in wheelchairs or with strollers.
Thank you again for your feedback and we hope you will visit us again soon.

“Quaint downtown area.”

The downtown area was very clean and the people were all very friendly. Nice shops and restaurants. Very accessible by shuttle service from local hotels. Great food and several options to chose from.

“New life to an old town”

New shops on main street have interesting things around every corner. From antiques to wine to a French bakery. Very lovely.

“GV Main Street Days”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

My family and I go to this annual May event every other year or so and it has improved over the years with better vendors and nicer attractions and music. I still do not like the fact you have to purchase tickets to buy everything as it is very pricey in that respect and with mobile pay sites such as PayPal and such for the vendors to use it is really unnecessary but an obvious revenue stream for the event.

Some really neat vendors to buy from and great music and entertainment. Something fun to do for all ages. We typically try to go before 5pm on a Thursday or Friday when entry is free.
