“Nice alternative.”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Just a little out of the way on Hwy 290, however, it is right on the freeway and easy to find and get to.

This place is not anything special but it is clean, quite and a good price ($100. per night for the suite).

It is in good condition and seems to be in a safe location. If I m on this side of Houston again I will stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask to stay on the back side away from Hwy 290.

Hotel was accessible to the airport, cheap. Those are the only 2 pros for this hotel. Everything is very old and dated, even the smell of the room and the linens. TV's are the old style, not LCD's, which does not have many of the extended cable networks; if you want to take a shower, make sure you have at least an hour because it will take you that long to rinse off, water pressure is very low, almost just a trickle. The air co nditions are old and noisy. The towels are dingy, yellowish, and only two towels, one hand towel and one washcloth. There was no extra roll of toilet paper, only half used roll was there. I can go on and on.....the gist of the matter is I probably won't be staying at one of Wyndham chains again!!!

The motel offers clean and large rooms. All around are roads or buildings; for an extended stay, the location would not be attractive. But ideal and affordable for a stay in transit.
Very good value for money!

We were pleasantly surprised at the small but very nice two-room suite, with a TV in each room. The only thing we lacked was a small refrigerator, otherwise the room was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were kind of flat. It is a small property, so parking is kind of tight...but the room was quiet considering it's proximity to the freeway. The desk clerk was helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. It was a pleasant stay and we will stay with ABV again.

It was perfectly suitable for the end of the first day of a road trip.
It is on a one way road, so getting back to it without satnav could be fun.
Handily next to a Shell garage and convenience store for anything your realise you have forgotten.

Normally I will not stay in Motel 6's or 8"s or any chain that is below 70 dollars a night.. But this was the only hotel near where i needed to be that had great rate I was able to get my room cheaper because i booked on line, I paid 47.00 for a room with 2 beds, TV, Refride and microwave.. The microwave didnt have a turn plate in but they got me one from another room..I have to say i only have two complaints about this hotel and that was we wore looking forward to swimming but it was a rinky dinky pool not worth getting in they had it closed and their breakfast SUCKED.. only thing they had out was cereal, we ended up at denny's a mile down the road,we kept having problems with our keys they also have a one way entry and its very tight swing as you come around so beware parking in first parking slot by room 110 but overall comfort and no noise was great,.. would I stay again... Yes I would

Room Tip: I was on the ground floor at the back corner, dont park in first slot near room 110 your car could b...

Was pleasantly surprised what we got for a total of $70 (that includes the taxes). Our room had a refrigerator, decent size TV. We had a nice little couch, coffee table, desk and chair in addition to the bed of course. The room was clean. My wife and I very happy with the value and would stay here again.
