We stayed at this place only for one night while rushing through.
I didn't expect too much of this place, being so reasonably priced, but I stood corrected.
This hotel absolutely deserves the name Hilton. The service was first class and the room great for very low money. The room was pretty big for the price class and very clean, as one would expect form a classy hotel like this one.

The neighborhood is pretty far outside and I don't think that there is very much public transportation going on around there, so I would only recommend this place to travelers with cars.

If you are looking to spend much time in the center of the city you might find something closer, but for everyone looking for a quiet place with classy standards, come here and be happy. :)

extra Hint: Some of the smaller "non-brand" hotels around here are in pretty bad shape. Booking any of those will be pure gamble in my opinion. Watch out for that.

Room Tip: The higher the better. There is not much to see here except for a dusty city, but from the higher ro...

Dear Alex D,
Thanks for choosing to review your experience while a guest of ours at the HIlton Garden Inn Houston Energy Corridor. While we recognize that Houston is a very large city in terms of "area", it does have the Texas properties of being quite "wide spread", hence making public transportation a bit more challenging. Many Houstonians still subscribe to the errant "right" of possessing and operating a large fossil fuel propelled vehicle for daily commutes on expansive motorways, to get from point A to point B. We trust when your business or leisure destination in Houston involves West Houston, you will continue to view this hotel as your home away from home.
Best regards,

Well, I got this room with my AAA card for 89.00. This price did not include breakfast. The welcome at check in was not as friendly as I would expect from a Hilton establishment. The room appeared very clean and new. We did make use of the outdoor pool, which the kids enjoyed. They even had noodles available for the kids to use as well as some swim toys. We did take advantage of room service, which I had a hard time paying $6 for mac and cheese. I ordered a Cesar Salad which was very good. We choose room service because the location of the hotel seemed very disconnected with other restaurants. It was just easy.

Staff is definitely very friendly. Particularly breakfast hostess Lesly is never afraid to strike up a smart conversation on current affairs while making sure you feel at home. Archie and Alma in the evening bar/dinner team also are true professionals .
Lobby staff , all around is very helpful and every request is professionally and quickly dealt with. Since I stay weeks at a time, that is very important to me. Pool, fitness facilities are well maintained. And finally compliments to the chef in the kitchen !! Plenty of parking and a great location makes this location one of my favorites while in Houston.

On my way to the hotel it was storming pretty badly. Upon arrival, a staff member offered me an umbrella almost immediately when she noticed I did not have one. They had complimentary toothpaste as well as I had forgotten mine. They were so kind. The room was in great shape as well, and I had a great view of Downtown Houston from the 4th floor. Whenever I come to visit I will surely choose this location.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very professional and helpful. However the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. I slept in hide-a-beds which were more comfortable. The idea it is adjustable is miss leading yes it adjusts but only leaves a hole in the bed where u were sleeping. The top is so firm there is no element of comfort. If you have a bad back and enjoy firm mattress these are the beds for you.

Dear Andy S.,

We're grateful that you chose to share your impressions about our hotel with the travel community. We understand that many travelers use this forum as a tool in determining the quality, friendliness, and comfort of a hotel in an area they are planning to visit.

We appreciate your perception of staff professionalism and helpfulness, and the cleanliness of the accommodations. While we recognize that sleep comfort is a very personal thing and can be somewhat subjective, we always strive to confirm the ultimate comfort of each guest. Our sleep system bedding typically allows us to do that. We apologize that in this instance, at least, the sleep system was not as restful as we intended. We are measuring guest responses to confirm their satisfaction with the sleep experience and promise to make your comfort a high priority for us.

We urge you to consider giving us another opportunity to make your next stay rewarding.

The hotel was nice and clean! The beds were adjustable, which was pretty cool. Just make sure you adjust both sides, cause if you roll over it feels weird!

Breakfast was incredible! They had fresh strawberries, pineapple, and melon that you don't see at many hotels.

We were visiting with the basketball team, and the hotel was perfect for our needs.

This Hilton Garden Inn delivered beyond my expectations. The rooms are comfortable (nice size, good work desk, etc.), friendly staff, there is a small but good gym, a good breakfast service, happy hour and a full service restaurant in the evening. Each of the experiences was top for this class of hotel. If I am in that area I will definitely return to this hotel.
