“Great stay, would happily stay again!”
Reviewed 30 April 2010

We stayed here twice in one week, once on the way to our destination in Mexico and once on the way back. The shuttle service from the airport was excellent, we called and they were there within 15 mins. Everyone we encountered was extremely professional and obviously had a high commitment to customer service. Terry at the front desk when we checked in was exceptional. He remembered us the next week as he welcomed us for breakfast. The shuttle drivers were polite and knowledgeable. Paula was great and went above and beyond for us.
The room was very clean and comfortable, two queen beds and a pullout sofa made us very comfortable. The room has the shower/sink in one area and an additional sink and toilet in another. This worked well for us as we were able to get kids ready for bed at the same time. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The "Springhill Suites" brand of Marriott makes Courtyard, my other go-to brand look dated. Large rooms, modern decor, comfortable bed, and a good work area with a sofa make this room a pleasant stay for up to several nights. Lighting is very good and the room is bright enough in the daytime where you don't even need a light on till dark. Modern halogen lighting in the bathroom makes it look bright and clean and LED reading lights on the bed are kind of cool too. Overall this room is something so modern that I'd expect it in a big city in Europe or Asia, not Texas. Airplane noise is a bit annoying, but good on Marriott for raising the bar for a good hotel experience for not much money. All I want is a clean, bright room and this was what I got.

I chose to stay (2 weeks on business) based on previous TripAdvisor reviews (4 to 5 stars). Rooms were well thought out. Lobby/dining/bar area was good enough to invite my clients to hang out. Stay and you'll see why. Full Breakfast with no short cuts. It's like they took the best ideas from other hotels and put them into action in this one. I even think the staff was handpicked - kudos to the mgmt staff. It starts at the top. A smile and/or greeting goes a long way and it was well represented by this hotel staff.

We got 'stuck' out at sea for over 7 hours on a cruise when fog rolled in. Most of the flying passengers missed their flights. When we called to reschduled them, the airlines provided us with this hotel information as a place to crash near Houston airport for the night before an early morning flight out. What a pleasant surprise!
This is a brand new location...cleanest rooms ever....wonderful staff with a quick check in an departure. Travelling with our 6 year old child and another couple of families and we could all stay near each other. Had a bar downstairs and very tasty 'grill' foods availabe. Nearby take out and devliery also available. They offered a lovely breakfast buffet starting at 6am. Looked like it was nice as they were setting it up but we had to leave to catch a flight. There is 24 hour shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes. new van with seating for about 11. Looked like free parking, free internet service and area to print out your boarding passes. And the beds were SUPER comfy.
This is like other springhill suites - all look the same and only annoying feature is thewhited out glass doors to the bathroom. When the light is on at 5am - the entire room knows it. There was the constant sound of planes taking off over us but all in all - what a clean lovely room for the night at a fantastic price!

I have not been staying at Marriott properties very often lately but decided to try this new hotel during a one night stopover between flights at Houston Intercontinental Airport. I was very glad I did because it was a great property. It sports completely brand new facilities as the hotel just opened very recently. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, although they did seem to be on a bit of a learning curve. The room was basic but clean, and had a nice modern feel to it. I especially enjoyed having a separate sitting area and bedroom area. Free wireless internet as well. The breakfast was above the average standard of free hotel breakfasts. There are also a few restaurant options within walking distance so you are not completely stranded as you are at some airport hotels.

This hotel more than exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It looked BRAND NEW. The high ceilings (10 feet) and large space made for such a pleasant stay. The toilet area is separate from the shower area. This is a huge plus when you are sharing the room with several other people. There is a huge closet in the room - large enough to keep ALL your belongings out of the way. The beds and pillows are among the most comfortable I've ever come across in a hotel. The staff was amazing. They are professional and friendly. As we walked past the front desk one morning we were pleasantly surprised when 3 staff members each greeted us with a genuine smile and "good morning!". The lobby is beautifully decorated and the complimentary breakfast was good. The hotel is conveniently located near Intercontinental Airport. I would highly recommend this hotel. This is the future of what we can expect of hotels.
