My daughter (age 8) received money for Christmas to be used at the American Girl store in Memorial City Mall. I decided to make a weekend of it, so we booked ourselves at the Westin. Once we parked our car, we never had to use it again! We walked in the COVERED INDOOR sky bridge from the hotel directly to the mall\restaurants. By spending about $25 more than a regular room fee, we were able to get FREE BREAKFAST in the 024 Restaurant as well as a $100 Macy's gift card. Always look for deals & specials on their website! The hotel is very simple and elegant. The bar has a waterfall inside, and has PLENTY of room for relaxing or just visiting with friends. The restaurant was one of the finest I've been to, with amazing breakfast, service & atmosphere.

The pool is amazing - it is an infinity edge pool overlooking the city. Breathtaking. Also has a hottub and work-out room (larger than most hotels...)

Our room was on the 18th floor, overlooking the mall, and at night, all the holiday lights were shining brightly and we left our curtains open most of the night to see the gorgeous view.

Bed was soft & plush. Extra pillows and blankets upon request. The bathroom was spacious and well maintained, with very simple but elegant decor. Each room has its own thermostat, so the temperature is always comfortable - central A/C & heat, not a window unit.

Value for the hotel was excellent. Costs more than the average hotel, but this is NOT an average hotel.

Service was impeccable...staff called me by name, and always had anything at the ready for our requests.

Check-in time is 3:00 but we were able to check-in early (at noon) and check-out was noon the following day, but they said we could be given a later check-out if needed.

Rooms and hallways immaculately kept - clean and quiet. Lobby was clean and serviced well. Elevators in the glass condo lobby lead directly to the parking lot.

Safety of utmost concern - must have room key to go up on the elevators past the 4th floors; first 4 floors are conference rooms, etc.

Free bottled water in the rooms - and fresh fruit in the lobby.

Highly recommend.

Room tip: ask for highest floor possible - away from elevators. ask for a room facing East (the mall)

We stayed at the Westin Houston Memorial City for a Christmas event. After driving in bad weather for hours, we arrived early, but Nuray Taylor, Guest Service Agent, checked us into our room immediately, was friendly, helpful and answered all our questions. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. What was especially nice was the sky walk to Memorial Mall. We did not have to walk in the rain to the stores. Also convenient was the attached, self-park garage.

Room tip: Hotel is along I-10, very busy interstate. Higher rooms are quieter. Also on South side.

I really liked this hotel. I paid a corporate rate of $209 or $245 including taxes.

The lobby is beautiful and the room is clean. The sole issue I had was with the size of the countertop in the bathroom (small) but there was an open shelf under the sink.

The hotel is across the street from a mall. I had breakfast at the hotel and they had a great variety of selections on the menu.

My daughters and I were here for the Monsters of Hip Hop Dance convention and we overall had a good stay. The rooms were clean and serviced well and the staff overall nice. Since we were here mainly for the convention and because my parents live in Houston as did I for a brief time, we were not here for any sort of tourism. For the purpose, the hotel was fine. Typical Westin, good service in general.
